Default What's your best scent+grooming product combo?

    Hi there!

I'm not that much into buying frag gift sets, you know, with the shower gel, aftershave, deo, body lotion etc...
Do you use it often and what's your best combination?
    Thank you in advance!
    Cheers!

Oddly enough I found that Old Spice aftershave pairs well with Terre d'Hermes. Don't ask me how or why, but somehow it works for me. Maybe you would find this repulsive.

As for shower gel, all I have is Joop! Homme that came with some EDT, naturally the combo goes very well and smells great! The gel settles down to a very nice wood/patchouli/musk that tempers the initial sweet blast of the EDT.

Amazingly, Burberry Brit was one of the best combos I used thus far. Even though alone, the fragrance is average IMO.

    Personally don't use grooming sets.

Have only bought and used few grooming sets so far and thus know very little about their fragrance performances. Instead, I tend to use far more often unscented/neutral scented/lightly scented grooming products, so that the fragrance choices can remain diverse.

Guerlain Vetiver bodywash + deo + edt is delicious.

I like Chanelís PE stick deo, sometimes itís the only fragrance I wear. Allure Homme has a complete line of accessories that are quite nice as well.

I don't believe in grooming combos. I believe in unscented deodorant and a perfume.

In general I use unscented deo, detergent, sometimes shower gel. My fav shower gel is scented so lightly that it doesn't cause a headache or interfere with my cologne. I don't believe in being all gunked up with multiple varying scents.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?

Yeah that was my philosophy too. However, I've once used Lalique Equus deo stick coming with a very interesting deal, and really liked it. A part from that, there is a Hugo shower gel I was offered 3 years ago collecting dust somewhere in the house...
But seeing so much gift sets so often, and considering the longevity or diffusion issues that affect so many frags, make me think why not?...
