    LOL!!

Gonna go with Dior, not by a clean knock-out though. Chanel puts up a real good fight.

Went with Chanel, despite the fact that half of the team doesn't deserve to be there (more specifically, the Allures and Platinum Egoiste have no place next to the others. But they are the moneymakers). But I must say that my decision was influenced by the female posse, where Chanel does win hands down, thanks also to the regrettable reformulations that have ravaged the Diors.

Epic smell battles of history presents

I think SevenDays summed up it up all too well.

Not a hard decision at all for me. Chanel has several fragrances I like and wear. Dior has only two.
Basenotes sales: Many collectible/discontinued CREEDs (Citrus Bigarrade, Selection Verte), Himalaya & other Basenotes favorites (Spicebomb, Heeley Oranges & Lemons, L'Artisan Batucada, L'Essence de Cerruti, The Vert) http://www.basenotes.net/threads/340...erruti-TheVert

Offsite sales: Collectible CREEDs (Vintage Tabarome Private Collection, Selection Verte, Citrus Bigarrade), Pure White Cologne, Himalaya & other Basenotes favorites (Spicebomb, Heeley Oranges & Lemons, L'Artisan Batucada, L'Essence de Cerruti, The Vert) http://flacon.ambaric.net/viewtopic.php?t=260 and http://flacon.ambaric.net/viewtopic.php?t=626

For me it's not even fair. Take DH, DHI and Fahrenheit and put it up against the Chanel hoard and David beats Goliath. That being said I do love Sycomore.

Not a fair comparision because you included Sycomore which is part of Chanel's Les Exclusifs collection. Swap out Eau Sauvage edp and Fahrenheit 32, for Leather Oud and Poison and you may have different results. That being said, I still voted for Dior.

What I like from Chanel's regular line - Bleu / Pour Monsieur Concentree / Antaeus / Egoiste

What I like from Dior's regular line - DHI / Eau Sauvage edt / Eau Sauvage Pure Parfum / Fahrenheit

I voted Chanel - but by a Technical KO, very close indeed...

Even if we considered the prive & exclusifs, I'll still vote for Chanel, as I like more # of their exclusifs than the # i like from Dior Prive

Cacio summed it up much better for me - Chanel wins by virtue of Egoiste, Sycomore, and various other female marketed releases not included above (Coromandel, 31 Rue Cambon, Cuir De Russie, Bois des Iles etc etc).

Dior I'd say, though through hits count rather than knock-out only due to their reformulation disease.

In my opinion, it's mostly a tie, since both houses have their strengths and weaknesses, their highlights and more underwhelming scents, but pretty much averaging around the same quantity and quality of good and great scents.

I went with Chanel. Neither "team" has the best available players they could have put out there, but from the ones in the pictures, it's Chanel by a lot.

Agree that if you are going to put Sycomore in there, you should have put some from the Dior Privee line-up also...
