I actually think Black Aoud could work fine in warm weather, given a lighter application. After the first hour, it calms down a lot. Sexy stuff.

Also worth checking out Atelier Rose Anonyme.

This. And you can buy a sample from Le Labo to try it out if you can't smell it in a shop locally.

I've a sample of this. I wasn't really interested in it, I was just given it. I hadn't even looked up the notes. I shall give this a shot tomorrow though as I'm enjoying rose right now. Thanks!

Seconding Foustie, Eau d'Italie Paestum Rose could be it for you. Light rose and incense, but never heavy.

I recommend Acqua di Parma Colonia. It is delicious, citric and with a rose in the middle. The most wonderful rose.

Let me suggest the impeccable, light and spicy rose Black Tie by Washington Tremlett. For winter/autumn, I'd go with Hammam Bouquet (vintage of course; latest formulation (from about 2010 on) is Bugspray Bouquet).

Rose 31 and Whips and Roses are both pretty good as well. The Dun Soir can be had for a steal online.
