The ingredients remind me of Cresus by Geparlys.

I already own a small amount of this, don't think I've given it a proper wearing yet though....

It's good stuff, a woody amber with light smoke accords. I found this to be full bottle worthy...You are approaching the cabin after a morning walk through the woods, white smoke billows from the chimney as you approach. You catch a whiff of the beautiful, clean, cedar coming from your wood burning stove.

Beautiful. Part of the reason most winter smells don't resonate with me is typical heavy use on tobacco notes. I hate walking around smelling like a smoker - no offense to those that do or who enjoy those notes.

I hear you. Winter Woods isn't the typical dark smoke that you might associate with cade. Instead Winter Woods is only very slightly sweet/smoky and warm, yet it somehow casts the smell of a cool winter night's breeze. I really enjoyed this one last year, I need to revisit it while the weather permits here in Chicago.

I appreciate Winter Woods and the heavier/smokier Fireside Intense the most from Sonoma Scent Studio / Laurie Erickson. WW focuses more on amber, respectively, and comes off comparatively lighter to me but in no way is it light.

Not light, but the smoke is on the lighter side. Not overpowering like some smoky ambers can be. Fireside is a little too sharp for me.
