Wearing Weil de Weil this am. Found it to be very sharp and green when I first put it on. Almost overwhelmingly so. Major galbanum bomb. After about 10 minutes the sharpness went away and within an hour I was smelling primarily the lovely floral notes...hyacinth and a touch of gardenia. Didn't find the neroli that's listed as one of the notes. Just reapplied and this time my nose has adjusted and the sharp galbanum quiets down almost immediately, letting me smell flowers and a little bit of lovely soft leather. The only other Weil I own is Antilope. I believe I have both vintage and a newer version and love them both madly so it's a treat to try other vintage Weil fumes. I adore many of my modern perfumes but there is simply nothing like the base of vintage perfumes. Jujy54, thanks for sharing these beauties with me! My wallet...probably not gonna be so happy with you because I fear I'm going to need a bottle before I'm done with the sample! I'm a sucker for scents that combine green/floral/leather notes.
