    Default How fickle are you?

I was sucked into this fragrance obsession about a year ago. The scent that got me started was Declaration by Cartier and was my favorite scent for a couple months. Declaration was knocked off it's pedestal by Millesime Imperial which held the number one position till today when it had to move aside for Gold Man by Amouage. In two years I've had three number one scents and I'm curious if I'm fickle or if others experience is similar.

How often does your number one change?

I cant pick just one as a favourite.

I have frags for different occasions, different outfits, different people who I might see that day. I have a favourite for each, with a few sitting behind them that I rotate just to keep things fresh.

I've never, ever changed my number one. It has always been and will always be my beloved Hammam Bouquet.

What I wear on a particular day is my favorite, I do not buy what I do not like (one exception was a blind buy of Cuir de Arabie - bought bcoz I love leather & damn it's challenging me a lot, still can't find any love after 2 testings)...

As Christoph Waltz says in the movie Inglourious Basterds - "each of your daughters is more lovely than the last", so are the parfums I own!!!

This guy gets it, great answer.

But everyones different, some people just collect collect collect and various ones become their favs for a while. In the earliest of early days Pure Malt was my unquestioned fav but now its all about occasions, seasons, wardrobe etc.

Don't have a "favorite" Each day a new scent becomes the daily favorite.

My nose, and tastes, have seemed to develop quite a bit over the last year or so. I have several 'favorites' and they seem to change a bit over time as I become exposed to more and more fragrances.

Wouldn't call it fickle. People's taste change. You're just human bro.

Not sure about my #1, but my top 10 would probably change 365 times per year.

Nobody shows fidelity, love, adoration, like myself. People have love relationships with hundreds of perfumes at the same time. That is immoral.

Lol....... I hope my bottle of Millesime Imperial does not find out about my clandestine affair with Bel Ami or I might be the one who gets reformulated.

Same here, I can't pick a favorite at all, if it smells good and it fits the mood i'm in and the weather I'll wear it.

Most of my favorites remain unchanged over time, it's true however that I might be a bit more fickle or at least flexible when adding new houses, flankers, scent categories to my largely unchanged pre-existing favorites.

Aside from the occasional jolt from the well known 'asparagus effect' my number 1 has never changed. Still untied and unbeaten it remains Aramis Havana (old or new release)

So in my case l'uomo mobile doesn't fit.

I have bought a few that I put in my "top 10" for awhile, and later grew tired of...Not sure why it happens. Some have stayed in the top 10, but a few I completely lost love for.

Since I started this hobby around last summer, my number 1 fragrance has always been the same. The caramel, cinnamon, vanilla and orange combo is all I've ever needed.
