I'm sampling Olfactive Studio Flash Back
Thread: SOTD, Saturday 27th April 2013
Hello my beloved Ladies. Good Morning. Wish you all a very happy day
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."
Clarice Lispector ( 1920-1977) - Perfumes da Terra / Earth Perfumes
Enjoy your Saturday everyone! My SOTD was Route du Vetiver.
Thank you Roberto and Ozjon701!
I am wearing Youth Dew Amber Nude. This one packs a
punch for sure!
A woman without perfume is like a flower without a scent.
Hello everyone. Caron Fleurs de Rocaille vintage Extract.
Good morning! Beautiful day shaping up here, it's to get up into the 60's. That
should definitely get rid of the rest of our snow.
((Twolf)) and ((Shadesofbleu)).
Wearing Aqua Allegoria Flora Nerolia this morning.
Have a great Saturday!

SOTD is Gucci Accenti: notes include tangerine, peach, jasmine, rose, lily of the valley, raspberry, vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood. A big, glamourous floriental, not for the timid. By the wonderful Dominique Ropion.
Have a lovely Saturday, all.
"I felt something so intense, I could only express it in a perfume." - Jacques Guerlain
SotD is Exultat by Maria Candida Gentile.
Wish you a nice weekend- mine will be extended 'till Wednesday: I'm spending a few days in Rome!
"Your fragrance with a fume of iodine" L. Cohen
Voyage d'Hermes Parfum, bought blind and growing on me very nicely
'I suggest we learn to love ourselves before it's made illegal.'
Good morning, everyone -
We've got two days of food, music and dancin' ahead of us (...well, until it starts up again next Thursday) but everyone around here seems rather beat already - it's a rare occasion when I'm the only one up! Maybe the enticing aroma of breakfast will rouse them ...that's one of the few things that'll get me up when I'd rather stay put. But today Jazz Fest awaits, and I'm ready to go ...surrounded by the lush and bright magnolias of Magnolia Nobile.
Y'all have a fantastic day!

Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan
Hello Ladies. Enjoy your weekend!

No scent today -- can't smell anything. Will be off two days in a row, will spend them in bed mostly, I think. I wish I could go and play outside in the dirt -- gotta plant herbs and zinnias, will have to miss all that gorgeousness of the sunshine.
You guys bloom where you are planted, today and always!
Weil de Weil thanks to a very generous basenoter!
Aaaawww, thank you Roberto and Ozjon701!
We are going camping, yippie!!! As we won't be around any humans whose delicate sensibilities we might offend, Mr. is wearing Yatagan while I drenched myself in Jicky extrait, courtesy of one very fine gentleman who often attends green envy inducing events.
Tdem1961 - you smell fabulous!
iivanita - you are so right! It's always a treat to sample something special that is hard to come by. I was very fortunate, Ebay usually treats me well.
Just saw your post, Twolf. I solemnly promise to do my best to bloom despite the drought and high winds.
Happy Saturday, everyone!

Good morning to all, especially our fine gentlemen
In case yesterday's were insufficient, more hugs to (((cello))), (((Twolf))), and (((Shades)))
We finally have a weekend of sun, and all I want is orange blossom, it seems. Again with Mademoiselle Piguet.
It's a fabulous girly day for me: mani-pedi, followed by haircut/color/highlight, and shopping for accessories and frothy unmentionables
Happy Saturday to all my fragrant lovelies, and happy camping to Whitefluffy and Mr. Fluffy!!
Magnolia Nobile is beautiful, Evangeline, and so appropriate this time of year!
Like Evangenline and Kiliwia, I am also in white flowers today: Jo Malone Osmanthus Blossom. It is a citrusy, bright blossom, unpretentious and very easy to wear. Has anyone smelled the actual flower??
Before gym: Ferragamo Black. After gym: Bergamatto Marino.
Hermès Équipage this morning

Hello all, & hugs to all who need them.
SOTD was Un Matin d'Orage, perfect for this mixed day of sunshine, showers & cool breezes.
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!
Sending healing vibes to (((Wolfie)))
Have a fab time, Mrs.E and Mrs.WF !
Spent the morning in town and took the opportunity to smell the three new YSL frags being launched with the eye- watering price tag of £185 for 80mL ! No samples, so could only sniff on paper, but yeah... odd move by the house ( wasn't impressed either ).
Joining in the Jicky fun tonight - a couple of spritzes of the PdT should do it.
Have a lovely weekend, all.

Get better Wolfie! And hugs to others to all who need them.
It's such a lovely spring day that we are heading off shortly to window-shop on Greenwich Avenue. No scent as I may wish to spray a tester or two at Saks.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme
Talc Gourmand by Farmacia SS. Annunziata
On a side note I tested Green Irish Tweed today and sadly I did not like it one bit. It smelled like wet grass one would remove from a lawnmower.
I can't say I had high hopes for the fragrance but didn't think I'd dislike it so much. However I must say that the juice was of a high quality, one spray and my other half could smell it on the other side of our sitting room.
What I've Been Wearing:
Well, shoot. I made a pretty (for my abilities) daffodil bouquet with all my different varieties I grow and took a pic to post for you all. Especially poor (((Twolf))), thought it might cheer you a little. Joined Photobucket and was all ready to go but still can't figure it out! Think I am posting the wrong addy for the link; any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong are welcome.
Anyway, the long, cold, brutal winter resulted in especially fantastic smelling daffodils this year! Finally, I can say something nice about winter! Makes me want to smell that way, too so am in Le Temps d'une Fête today! Happy Saturday, everyone!
Have fun, Whitefluffy! Glad you're getting away from it all!

The nose wants what it wants!
Aha! That could certainly explain it. Thank you, L'enfer! Will try that later today!
The nose wants what it wants!
It's so nice to see your smiles here today.
I had fun playing in the sample/decant bag this morning and wound up in Vent Vert with Fresh Violet Moss layered over that, a nice combination that I'm about to refresh after lunch.
Get well soon, Twolf!
Good afternoon, all.
Fiore di Riso today, I can't figure out whether this means 'rice flower' or 'smile flower' but it is pretty, subtle not big, does not last on me, but pretty.
We had monsoon-like rain here this afternoon, & now the sun is shining brightly again, so l'm pretending l'm on a tropical island with Mahora, from my little decant.
