I've only smelled F Black which reminded me of a mix between Le Male and Allure Homme. How does F compare to Terre D'Hermes?

F is a sweet version of light blue ph by dg with a plastic note. It seems really fresh and I'm considering it for a gym scent.

    Have samples of F & F Black.

I really like both, but I think I like F better. Those are the only 2 I have tried so far.

F Black. The emphatic labdanum in the base is just wonderful.

Own (and like) F pour Homme. When tried it first time, something in it reminded me of Terre's aura, just fresher. Now I see them very differently. F Black didn't stroked me as much different from his older brother, in fact I didn't like the sweet notes association with his older brother. Free Time was kind of 'meh'. Short story: F >>>>>> F Black >> Free Time

I have F - pretty darn subtle, but okay in huge doses - otherwise I'd think the F stands for Fragrance Free.

I sampled F extensively yesterday. I love the opening but after an hour or two "poof", it dries to a nondescript skin scent thats hardly detectable. Is this your experience?

I've only tried Free Time, don't really care for it. Too generic and bland

I have owned both F & F Black and I too prefer the original. I can understand issues of projection but honestly I've always found them both above average in sillage. Black especially is easy to detect for hours (7+). I prefer the original because it's fresher and less sweet though I used to use original during the day and the F Black at night. Free Time is an eau de cologne equivalent of which I have no use. Decent smell but no longevity.
    Winter Rotation:

    Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo
    Byredo Black Saffron
    John Varvatos Original
    Dior Homme Intense
    Versace Man
Calvin Klein Euphoria Intense for Men

If smelling good was a crime, I'd be serving a lifetime sentence....

Not a fan of Black, it's the only one I've tried. I loved it when I first got it, and got such a good deal that I bought (2) 3.4 oz bottles. Both of which have been swapped/sold. It smells like a mix of David Beckham Homme and David Beckham Signature Story, or for those unfamiliar with the Beckham line, a mix of TdH and Le Male. With an added cheap plasticy smell that projects like a monster and never goes away. I have heard similar about the original F, having the same cheap plasticy note, which is why I haven't even bothered to try it. Free Time just looks boring. Not a fan of this extension of SF at all.

However, what is actually very good from this house is SF pH, and Incanto. Subtil is also pretty good.

I own F and F Black(havn't tried Freetime yet)and think each one is great, just kind of depends whether its day/night or warm/cool as to which one I'll choose. As think both of these scents are pretty versatile. Used to like Black more, but once I got a bottle of F...find myself wearing it a little more.

I found the almost identical labels confusing and gave up analysing. I think it was SF pour Homme that I favoured in transit on recent jaunt, a quiet lemony but grounded scent, reminded me a little of YSL Jazz, not too sweet and lasting. But was it 'Black'? I can't say with any certainty.

F Black. For me it's one of the safest office scent.
