Default Looking for Icy Citrus fragrance...

    Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone could give me a recommendation for an icy citrus scent. I enjoy the smell of an ice cold glass of 7up and was wondering if your noses have come across anything similar?

    Let the suggestions fly!

    Cheers,

The first time I smelled Eau de Cartier, I got an amazing feeling of like a sparkling vodka tonic with a citrus twist that had been peeled right next to me. I thought it was fantastic, and got a sample to take home. Since then, tho', I get a weird, unpleasant synthetic feel -- like the awful Bvlgari Omni Coral.

So was it the sample? Or was it me? I have no idea. But you should try it, in case it works for you. Good luck.

Citrus is a bit fuzzy definition for a frag. Are you looking for lime, orange, pink grapefruit, mandarin? No one knows lime quite as italian's. Acqua di Parma, Zegna vintage are good stuff for work and play

I've always thought that Armani Code Sport smells a little like 7up
but the one that really smells like 7up to me is Tommy Jeans by Tommy Hilfiger.

Creed Selection Verte fills that particular niche for me.

Try Samba Ice Man. It's the "iciest" scent I have tried, and now that you mention it, it seems to have a 7-Up vibe to it. It's available for under ten bucks, so if you hate it you aren't out much money. I own it and like to wear it during the summer quite a bit.

Creed SMW is just about perfect for you.

If you're not looking to drop that much I can't recommend Luna Rossa highly enough. Bitter Orange, Lavender and Mint. It's beautiful, one of the best designer releases in recent memory.

Bond 9 Hamptons. Very similar to SMW but with more citrus lime up front.

Stop! Here you have it: Eau Universelle - L'Occitane. [I wonder if I'm not a bit repetitive ]
You also may like Verdon, from the same house, icy EDT, with peppermint. Personnaly, not my cup of tea but it could fit the bill...
    Cheers!

This sounds interesting...particularly because of the fizz vibe I'm looking for.

Already own it, great frag, just don't get a fizzy or icy quality from it. More like a smooth lemon meringue

Where do I find this one, I have been looking online but can't find it. Also, none of the retailers I've gone to have it.

To find this you need to look for - Guerlain Homme L' Eau. A slightly different name than mentioned. I recommend this one too.

Also, Serge Lutens Eau Froide fits the description of OP. Icy, cold citrus.

Agree, my friend! Just sampled Universelle this weekend and REALLY enjoyed it. Perfect summer scent - sparkling, realistic citrus that brightens your day (but is gone within a couple hours). Pretty darn affordable too. +1!!!
