Hello, good folks. I think of you so often. No asparagus coming up in our garden yet. Only rhubarb and cilantro. Daffodils are flowering. The male swallows are picking out where they'd each like their Mrs. to nest. A mallard has laid her eggs in one of our branch piles.
We are active outside until fatigue sends us inside for well-deserved showers. Life is sooooo good. I find it hard to believe anyone can be happier than we are.
I've hardly been wearing fragrance due to my mind being elsewhere. I regularly default to wearing Bond No. 9 Mothers, which Mr. Q comments on favorably every time. I think this could be my first signature scent.
Today I'm sampling Penhaligon's Peoneve. While I normally like green notes and often bitingly refreshing scents, the sharpness in Peoneve doesn't do anything for me. I'm so partial to the scent of Pre de Provence peony soap, which is creamy and dreamy, that I simply want "my" peony scent to be like that.
