Question Vetivera Herbacea by Berdoues: inputs?

    Hi everyone!

I bought on the spot VH few months ago. I was pleasantly surprised! I think it really helped me to "understand" vetiver, a material that was a kind of blind spot for me.
It's like, technically-wise, this scent is simple, "rustic", but once sprayed on my skin, it has so much complexity that I can't believe its price tag. A zesty fresh citrusy blast upon application is followed by an impression of sweet woods - I don't know how to describe it. Then it morphs into a rooty, earthy atmostphere that I can't help smelling. When temperatures rise, that earthiness gets a little bit smoky... it's just an amazing scent.
Do you know this one guyz?

    Cheers!

    Here goes the pyramid:

    Top: mandarin, cedar
    Heart: neroli, vetiver
    Base: Tonka beans, musky notes

    Thanks!!!
I thinks this one is not much talked about if not known at all. It's on my wrist while I'm typing this, and it smells very nice, in this cloudy/rainy day!

This is hard to find on this side of the Atlantic, as are Berdoues scents in general.

Really? Sorry for that. I thought it was widely available, as the Berdoues group owns international brands like IKKS, Chantal Thomass, Molyneux...
I bought mine in a sephora.

It is available on Amazon in the US.

Edit: My mistake, it is available through Amazon from Parfum1.com

Never tried any of the Berdoues fragrances except the long lost extra vielle.

Marks & Spencer in the UK recently got this range. I read somewhere they were all on the weak side so I have paid them little heed but will seek this one out on my next foray.

Just purchased all 5 in the men's line because they were so cheap - $21 each for 100ml and expect they will be somewhat weak as they are all EDC.

I own the vetiver as well as the green tea and lavender ones. They are all good. I have also tried the citrus and cardamom ones and they seem to be of similar quality and style. These were under the "Berdoues 1902" label, and I don't know if the line has been renamed since I bought mine.

They are stronger and last longer than their EDC designation implies. To the OP, you have described the vetiver well.

Thanks for the feedback dear Noggs! Vetivera Herbacea is the only one that I own. I was pleasantly surprised!
