Le Message Oublie by L'Antichambre
I love Profumum Roma Arso. What else might I like along similar lines?

Amouage Interlude Man
Cool. Thanks for the suggestions. I've found the SL Fiille difficult to source. Must try harder!
Thanks for this thread and for all of the answers. The price of Arso is crazy!
“To defeat an enemy you must know them. Not simply their battle tactics, but their history, philosophy, art.”
I love Arso and I agree with the recommendations so far for Le Message Oublie and Fille en Anguilles. I'd add Black Tourmaline and Slumberhouse Jeke and Norne.
Although I tried Duro years ago, but as a can recall, perhaps that's the nearest. But Amouage Interlude is a good take, either.
Les message sounds interesting. Wonder where I can get a sample...
If you like the smokey woods of Arso you would like:
Naomi Goodsir Bois d' Ascece - Some similarities with Arso, but more smoked leather as an accent note. It's a beast.
Olivier Dubrano Black Tourmaline - this is smokey but more incense than the campfire woods of Arso.
CDG Tea - very dark smokey black tea which has a similar smoke as Arso, but is darker and is that point where tea turns into black.
L'Antichambre Le Message Oubile - Extreme dryness with nuances of tea, pepper, woods, tobacco, leather - all dark with slightly smokey edge.
Clive Christian V - although not that close to Arso, V has a similar dark character that revolves around frankincense and leafy dark notes and lots of complexity. You would probably like this one too.
I've tried all these and own most of them. I don't think any are better than Arso. Black Tourmaline is easier to wear and Le Message Oubile has more intresesting stuff going on, but Arso is extremely good. As with all of these Profumum perfumes, there is considerable variation from year to year due to the natural changes in raw material strengths etc. so test these before just jumping in.

+1 for Naomi Goodsir Bois d' Ascece
L'Antichambre Le Message Oubile is very much in the same vein. It is costlier per mL than Arso.
I find Profumum Roma Arso to smell very exotic!!
