Thread: opinions sought
1.-i am interested in finding out where i can purchase a large or larger bottle of Ramon Monegal Cherry Musk. all i see are very small bottles. can anyone help me?
2.- how would you categorize Czech & Speake no. 88, high end or what exactly?
3.-is clive christian worth the expense?
4.-does using the scented body cream of a particular fragrance really enhance longevity?
5.-is there a citrus with better longevity than annick goutal eau d'hadrien absolue, if so which?
1 - The line's only released 50 ml (1.7 oz) bottles
4 - Yes
3 - I'm no big fn, but as always, it's up to one's tastes.
4 - using lotions, including unscented ones, does help a bit retain perfumes, especially if one has dry skin. But it is not the perfume lotion per se, which is usually very lightly scented, it is the fact that the skin is not too dry and is more moisturized.
5 - not really. Citrus molecules are very volatile, so, even in the examples mentioned above, longevity is relatively poor. You simply cannot have long lasting citrus.
2. Is there even a need to categorize anything as high end or low end? Is price the sole determinant?
3. If you can afford it, yes. But bear in mind fragrances of similar quality can be had for less.
4. Yes in my experience. But not significant enough to warrant its purchase imo.
5. Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine, Xerjoff Nio etc. But Cacio's right. Citrus oil being what it is. Just carry a small atomiser of your favorite citrus fragrance.
