Default Nahema by Guerlain, one bottle remained: blind buy?

It's a black bottle with lettering "parfum de toilette", almost surely a vintage one.
    What's your opinion?

    here it is:

I adore Guerlain House, for a reseonable price I'd definitely go for it!

If you love rose and the price is reasonable.

Guerlain Pdt's are from the 80's, so it just scrapes by as "vintage." I tested a bottle like this one last year. Sillage and longevity were OK. I didn't see much difference as compared to the new formula, but Nahema isn't really my thing.

If the price is reasonable, go for it. Do you mean blind in the sense that you have never smelled Nahema in general? It is a big, bright colored jammy rose, not very typical Guerlain (unless you put Insolence in). I have never smelled the pdt, so I don't know how it compares. I believe that the current stuff isn't too far off the vintage edts I have smelled.

The PDT in this bottle is just gorgeous. I don't find it much different from the older vintage PDT that I have in the much less glamorous bottle. Nahema turned me off initially when I bought the modern, because it was so, so strong and potent. I sold my first bottle.

Then a friend gave me a bottle of the vintage and I fell in love. To me, Nahema is the epitomy of a rose perfume, however, it is not to everyone's taste. I wouldn't be buying a full bottle, unless it was fairly cheap. Consider a vintage mini which can be found every now and again at a reasonable price, just to see how much you really love it.

Don't buy vintage Nahema!! This fragrance does NOT age well, unlike Chanel No 5. With No 5 sometimes you lose the top note in vintages but the rest is still heavenly—sometimes ever more intense. Nahema gets a vegetable oil smell over time that is just not pleasant. It really, really doesn't age well. Unfortunately, folks who don't know this assume that's simply the intended smell of the fragrance. It sucks, but always buy "fresh" Nahema. If you don't like the latest formulation, tough luck

Mongut, since this thread is 4 years old no doubt they are using and loving their pdt perhaps all gone now. I know many say never buy Vol de Nuit vintage as it does not mature well, I believe it was the parfum version?

The Caron's do mature well, I have a 1960 extract version of Fleurs de Rocaille and the top notes faded but the rest is glorious.
