Apart from Comme de Garcon's range of incenses, which incense do you highly rate? I love Liturgie des Heures and like Montale's Fill Incense. Which do you like?

I really like Incense Oud but unfortunately the longetivity I get from it is maybe 2-3 hours.. really disappointed because it's the only By Kilian that I've ever had longetivity problems with, and probably my second favourite in terms of smell next to Straight to Heaven.

    +2 for Heeley Cardinal

Also, Tauer Incense Extreme -- not for the faint of heart!

And L'Artisan's Timbuktu and Dzonghkha, both of which have incense playing a significant part.

    I enjoy Mark Buxton's mb03 very much.
It's my go to when I'm craving a church themed incense fragrance.

If you want a unique incense, Wazamba from Parfum d'Empire is a must try.
    It's another of my favorites.

I miss from this list Etro's Messe de Minuit. A truly gothic, cold, almost frightening incense scent.

There are only a couple of bottles left in circulation, from what I understand, although you can order from them directly. I'm hoping someone around these parts orchestrates another split, as I missed out on the last batch.

I love incense as part of a composition but not so much full forward incense. In my mind, there are two that stand out and these are Bois d'Encens and Avignon. I like them both both not something I want to smell like.

NK Incenseis phenomenal. Definitely worth seeking out.On me longevity is(not kidding here) 24 hours.

Another that I enjoy is Messe de Minuit-Etro and, as mentioned, Liturgie des Heures.

It looks like there may be a couple of bottles left. Its only available in 200mls&500mls, 475.00/1200.00 respectively.

Encens Flamboyant from Goutal is a good one - more 'moist' than Bois d'Encens, which I find a bit dry.

    Memoir Man is pretty good.

Honestly, I love a lot of incense fragrances. Those that top my list right now (of ones I've tried):

    -Memoir Man by Amouage
-LDDM by Tauer (as a component)
-Black Amber by Agonist (thanks Trex for the sample)
    -Jubilation XXV by Amouage

I like others, but I'll keep the list short.

I've worn it a few times (mostly in the cold) and I got 8 or so hours from it, which is perfect for a fragrance in my book. It might throw some people off with its seaweed note, but I like it and I think it adds character.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Black Afgano yet. Got a sample of this a couple of days ago and I cannot stop sniffing my arm. I really don't see where all of the controversy is coming from with this, as to me it smells very pleasant. It is also by far the longest lasting perfume I have sampled yet - I get 24 hours, easy.

I don't know, I guess tastes vary widely, but to me this is one of the most refined, classy, masterfully blended, captivating perfumes on the market.

I will be picking up a full bottle very soon.

A very fine incense oud is Oud Shamash from The Different Company.
