Thread: Chili Pepper Vibe
I love Padparadscha, but sadly it does not last long at all on my skin. Any recommendations for a scent with a chili pepper vibe that might be longer lasting? Thanks!
Royal Platinum by Charriol is full of chili pepper.
Xeryus Rouge has a strong chili pepper vibe...it's a great take on the note.
Paprika Brasil by Hermes has an interesting nose tingling effect from the chili pepper in the topnotes, however it is short-lived and not worth the pricetag
Thanks everyone for the helpful replies. If anyone else has suggestions, please let me know.

Listen by Herb Alpert...though it doesn't have chilli pepper but to my nose it is there...very sharp one indeed!!

Paprika Brasil (but this is also quite floral)
My Ultimate Top 5:
Le Vetiver Itasca (2010)
Burberry London (2006)
Eau des Baux (2006)
Arpege pour Homme (2005)
One more for Piment Brulant.
I have a TON of Full Bottles/Decants/Samples for trade/sale. Montale, Oud Oils, Amouage, Mancera, Penhaligon's
All the ones that first popped in my head have been mentioned, but one that may not be exactly what you're looking for, but could be a viable summer frag is Eternity Aqua. If you notice, there is a decent dose of Szechuan pepper in there. A bit off the mark, but thought I'd put it in there :}
Just thought of another, Aramis Havana.

+1 taste of fragrance, the chili note doesn't last too long in the life of the fragrance though, i say it disappears within the first 30-45 minutes.
Arquiste Anima Dulcis is certainly worth a try.
Comme des Garçons Red Series Harissa, perhaps? Also, I haven't smelled it in a long time, but doesn't Montale Red Aoud have a chili pepper note to it?

A couple of fresh/aquatic type scents with chili pepper and pimento notes thrown in are Tommy Bahama's Very Cool and Davidoff's Echo. Both have chili pepper mixed with nutmeg in the mid notes which creates a metal type accord to my nose.
The absolute best oily, hot chili pepper note is found in Patou Pour Homme. The tricky thing is finding a bottle that the top notes have not burned off from. It took me four bottles to finally find one.
