Default Asking for suggestions based on my collection...

Would you mind to suggest some fragrances I might like based on my small collection?

    I currently own:
    - Nasomatto Black Afgano (just got it a few days ago and love it)
    - Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille (like it, but Iīm not often in the mood for it as it is a bit on the sweet side sometimes)
    - Tom Ford For Men (nice everyday & office scent with poor longevity, not going to buy another bottle)
    - Davidoff Zino (perfect everyday & office scent)
    - Creed Tabarome (summer scent, the ginger in the top note makes it very fresh and happy imo)

    Some I recently tried:
    - Nasomatto Duro (too harsh and brutal)
    - Nasomatto Pardon (too scratchy)
    - MFK Cashmere Oud (too "black", peppery and inky)
    - Armani Royal Oud (liked it)
    - Armani Cuir Noir (liked it on paper)

    What else could I try?

You seem to like heavier, warmer scents. In addition to what already suggested, some Lutens like Chergui, Ambre Sultqn, or Arabie (Jeux de peau too, but it is very sweet)

Out of everything you have mentioned, my favorite would be Tom Ford for Men. I really like that one.

You like dark perfume. Dont forget Montale Dark Oud (sandalwood), Black Oud (rose) and White Oud (saffron).

Try out a few other frags from Maitre Parfumier et Gantier - Parfum d'Habit / Santal Noble / Eau des Iles / Bois de Turquie

or other Serge Lutens / by Kilian frags...

or if you are not faint hearted - Slumberhouse frags

Interesting, as I have tested a couple of them a few months ago. Aoud Musk, Aoud Safran, Dark Aoud, Moon Aoud and White Aoud. They are special and all share a certain style, but itīs not really what Iīm looking for this time. Thanks!

I have never heard of Maitre Parfumier et Gantier and Slumberhose. I have a decant of Chergui which I like. Have decants of almost all Kilians, Amber Oud is quite good too!

Mind if I ask how old you are? An age range is fine. It's a shame Tom Ford For Men doesn't last for you. I get around 8 hours from it and compliments galore. Isn't it funny how different people's skin differs? I had to sell my bottle of CdG 2 Man because I only got 5 hours from it. For me, that's a pass.

I strongly recommend Gucci Pour Homme II - but - make sure you give it a test wear first. I get at least 8 to 10 hours from it, and it clings to my shirt (in a good way) but so many people claim it disappears on them, so your mileage may vary.

Fahrenheit is a classic that smells really modern. You've probably sampled it before, but try it again - on skin.

    Iīm in my early 30s.
Yeah Tom Ford For Men is a great fragrance which smells more expensive than it really is. Interesting that it lasts on your skin as I heard a lot of people complaining about that...
Thanks for reminding me of Fahrenheit! Smelled it years ago on paper and liked it, but completely forgot about it...

Oh, my, but you have excellent taste in my opinion. I could live with those selections alone, but here are a few of my very humble suggestions.

Since you like Tom Ford Men, give Escada Homme a try. Same classic vibe, but with better longevity and sillage.

Zino prompts me to offer the suggestion of Ungaro II or III, both good and there's reason enough to have both.

Tabarome is wonderful -- for the night time, give Apparition Homme Intense a whirl.

TF Tobacco Vanille with less sweetness and expense would give you Tabaco Latino or Remy Martin Cigar or even Cuba Gold. Get all three!

It's difficult to base a suggestion off Black Afgano, since it is so unique, but based on the density and mystery of the scent, I would venture that you could like Salvador Dali pour Homme.

I see others have mentioned the Slumberhouse products, I would add my voice to that pack of rabble. You wouldn't go wrong familiarising yourself with their output.

Wow, thanks for taking the time to post that!
I already tried many of the ones you mentioned, but some of them are still on my radar (esp. Puredistance, Eau Duelle, Tauer LDDM, Leather Oud, Fahrenheit).

    Thank you sir
Again, I have not yet smelled a single one of your suggestions. This thread tells me I have still a lot to discover...
Couldnīt find Remy Martin Cigar, any advice as where to get additional info?

Ooops, alcohol on my mind -- it's Remy Latour Cigar and it's here.

I found all three for ten bucks or less and they do not smell that cheap at all. Cigar reminds me of a cigar box with a musty cedar tobacco and a touch of spice. Tabaco Latino is more a suggestion of floral green tobacco with some cedar in the base. Cuba Gold is well-documented as A-men light with a soapy barbershop kind of twist. I've even layered them in various combinations and they intertwine well.

I should have mentioned that the Apparition is a dense, spicy concoction with some anise or licorice that commands the space around one quite nicely. A good switch from the light daytime spice of Tabarome.

Salvador is difficult to describe at best. One really has to try it to understand.
