    Default Granville Dior alternatives

    Hi.
It' s very difficult to find here in Italy the fantastic fragrance Granville by Dior, collection privee. It may only be sold in Dior boutiques, very few in Italy and not close to my city. And also, it' s not even ever available there.
So, I wish I could find a very similar fragrance. As similar as possible, in its aromatic, fresh and woody notes, in a masculine way. I love the pine, but not in the rough way of Pino Silvestre...I love the aromatic invigorating accents, the sparkling citric freshness and the conforting soft warm woody base.
I don't love too much Eau Savage, as I find it quiet linear and too unbalanced and shifted too much on the citrus side only. I need someting more complex and refined, as the wonderful Granville is indeed.
    Thanks !

It's a one off. I could name lots of scents with a pine note included but they won't be the same. It is available in London at Selfridges, not sure of their export policy. Definitely worth having though. Maybe others can help.

Perhaps Double Zero by Galimard although not exactly the same.

I haven't tried Granville. But perhaps Fille en Aiguilles by Serge Lutens, Polo by Ralph Lauren or possibly Slumberhouse Norne might compare.

I haven't come across anything that does the same job - Granville is quite unique, IMO. It's possible there may be some vaguely similar coniferous gems from the 80's but in terms of readily available stuff dunno. If you like it as much as I do I would suggest making the effort to order from Dior - maybe go for a 250ml or 500ml, the bigger the better price per ml.

Blenheim Bouquet by Penhaligon's is very close.

You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter - beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace - arise from beyond the mind.

    You begin to awaken"

Blenheim Bouquet is the closest I smelled.

Definitely not a replacement though. More of a complimentary item.
