I would choose neither, but if you had to choose, IMO, go with the former.

Surprised! As just today one of my friends had worn a very smooth and nice smelling cologne which made me ask him what was that, and he said CHIC! Now I was thinking if it worths buying a full 100ml bottle blindly or go for CH Men from the same house Carolina Herera?
My most favorite scents that I can't be without:
    Givenchy Xeryus Rouge
    Dior Homme Intense
    Fahrenheit

I think they both fall into the nice but unspectacular category. Both a 7/10
    Current Top 10:

    Dior Homme
    Gucci Pour Homme II
    Rive Gauche
    Fahrenheit
    New Haarlem
    Jubilation XXV
    Neroli Portofino

The Original CH for Men was quite the fire starter for my ex... She prefered it over many other things I wore. This is mid 1990's.
Its good stuff, not amazing or terrible, just good stuff. I was thinking of getting another bottle.

Have owned both, but the only one I still own and will continue to own is CH Men. I think it's a lot better than Chic.

The both are great, but I'd go with CH.
