    Default Adequate Cologne Storage?

After doing some reading on this subject online, I am keeping each of my colognes in individual zip closure baggies. The baggies are all stored in the same snap-top plastic container. The lid is always on tightly. The container sits on a shelf in my small walk-in closet with the lights off and the door closed, so it is almost always in darkness. The temperature and humidity levels are pretty consistent as well. Does this seem like I'm doing the right thing to protect my investment? Thanks in advance for your advice!

    Sounds OK to me.

Almost as good as it gets for a house. Light is the enemy number 1. heat is the second, and oxygen is the third. there's not much one can do for oxygen - though atomizer bottles, which are pretty tight, are quite good in that respect. The osmotheque keeps their perfumes in the dark, in refrigerators that (if I understood french correctly) are kept at 12C. The bottles are filled with argon, so that the perfume doesn't get much contact with oxygen. The latter thing is clearly unfeasible at home, though I have read of some similar gas for opened wine bottles.

But seriously, just putting them in that same walkin closet would be suffice.

Wow, all I do is store them in my cupboard.

I've been using a small refrigerator on the lowest setting for many years now. Look at my join date....not a single bottle out of over 200+ has ever gone bad.
This is for EdC, EdT,EdP/PdT. Extraits go in a small dresser drawer. No issues yet with those either.
    Yes, I have OCD. :-)

A small wine fridge is very cheap insurance given the cost of fragrances and a substantial collection. I may be ocd but it seems worth it to me even if overkill.
