    Question Bloomingdales

Does Bloomingdales carry a good variety of niche fragrances? What are some worth checking out? Do they carry the Creed line?

They carry zero niche frags. On their site though, they seem to have Tom Ford Private Blend. Which i though was interesting.

Closest you're going to come is Annick Goutal perhaps or what was mentioned above.

I think it depends which Bloomingdales because the one that I go to carries Tom Ford Private Blends, Creeds and Diptyque. Maybe some others too.

Not niche, but they do carry Chanel Antaeus and Egoiste, which are not carried by most other dept stores.

i have a bloomingdales 5 minutes away from my house. they do not carry any creed and they don't carry much niche. most of what they carry is niche $100 or less and more restricted designers.

I've seen Hermes Orange Concentree, Pure Havane, Chanel Egoiste, and several Guerlains there. Aside from that, it's largely typical.

I was amazed to discover a few Bloomingdale's carry Creed and other niche lines. I was in Boston and walked in to a Bloomingdale's and they had a very good collection of Creed, just not many of the special ones (Pure White etc.) I am hoping the NYC stores carry Creed or other high end lines since I will be stopping by there in a few weeks. (and before you respond, I know other stores carry Creed and the like, but I get a special rate at Bloomingdale's , that's the reason I was excited to see Creed there) I plan on spending a few hours at MiN as well.

It depends on the store itself.

The Bloomindale's here carries the following -

Preapre to be struck with awe:

    Penhaligon's
    l'artisan Parfumeur
    Diptyque
    Caron (including the Urns!)
    Miller Harris
    Serge Lutens
    Guerlain + all the exclusives
    Bois 1920
    The Fragrance Kitchen

    And many more.
    Traum vernichtung

    for swap/sale:

The reason for that (btw, we are talking about the Dubai branch) is because that the local agent is the authorised dealer for those lables and has

some of them stocked in other botiques (e.g l'Artisan)

It really depends on where you are. If there's a Neiman Marcus or a Saks nearby, Bloomingdales will often stick to lower end perfumes. But if it's the nicest store in town, they'll have a lot more selection. Nordstrom does that too.

Of course, the flagship in New York has everything! Also, make a point of tracking down the Space NK boutique inside the Bloomingdales for a more niche collection of scents and candles and stuff.

No, I am in Brazil right now. I have a 7 hour layover in NYC when I fly back next week and wanted to take advantage of the Bloomingdale's there since I now know some stores have much more selection than the website has. And I tried to call several times, but my MagicJack stopped working after 3 weeks here
