Have a great week everyone
Thread: SOTD, Monday May 13th, 2013
Good morning everyone
Have all a great week
For me today is
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Have a great week, everyone!

Hello everybody! I'm wearing Bal à Versailles edc this cool, sunny morning. I'll go for a while without wearing it, and then I'll get a craving for it, and when I do it's like..."aaahhhh, there you are at last!" It's so good.
I hope everyone has a great start to their week. xo

Good morning, everyone -
I'm in No19 this morning, just a touch of 80s parfum plus a spritz of edt. Y'all have a great day!
Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan
Well, well, well. I have just seen Saturdays thread with the picture of Twolf's rather magnificent bare bahookie!
Teardrop, you and should hook up hun. I worked the weekend too and I'm now on my days off. Bliss.
Dearest lilybelle The mere mention of BAV reminds me of your Monsieur.
Arquiste Infanta en Flor today. Am I alone in thinking that this is wonderful? Not at all a personal choice for me but my word......
Crikey, we are having big hailstones and sleet!!
L'Artisan Parfumeur Nuit de Tubereuse. I think I am craving both tuberose and gardenia this Monday.
Hope you all -- you Foustie too! -- had a nice weekend.

Good morning, everyone! It's cold and gray here, with rain and wind.
Wearing Vera Wang this morning. I like the mix of calla lily, gardenia
and stephanotis in this one.
Have a happy Monday!
Good morning, good smelling persons.
Neil Morris City Rain, mmm.

Jon, I will wear out certain keys on my keyboard typing, yet again, how much I appreciate your photos (from Sunday). I worked for railfan publications, and my father built steam-traction (farm) engines, so you have, again, found subject matter worthy of my attention. Plus, the quality of your shots is great!
On Saturday we hosted an originally-planned-as-a-canoe-race-viewing-followed-by-brunch gathering which turned into simply a brunch. (The weather had turned inhospitable for sitting by the river at 9 a.m.) Our brunch started at 10 a.m. and lasted until 5 p.m. = 7 hours(!) of great conversation between 11 people, surviving on fruit, cheese, homemade breads, and white wines from Wisconsin and Michigan. (Wouldn't you expect Germanic Wisconsin to produce a wonderful Riesling?) What a life, what nifty peeps, all of them gardeners or native-plant landscapers. R.e.a.l.l.y g.o.o.d t.i.m.e.s.
Today I'm trying Bond No. 9 Central Park South. Notes: grapefruit blossom, black currant, green ivy; jasmine, ylang-ylang, narcissus, lily-of-the-valley; sandalwood bark, cedar, animalistic musk.
It's pleasant and green, but not the least bit groundbreaking. I'm most conscious of the semi-sweet ivy note. Maybe it dry down into something less ivy, but I can't imagine it becoming more interesting or novel.
Today I'm trying out JPG Classique from a sample I bought recently. It's rather nice but a bit sweet.
I'm trying to be kind to my OH today, who found out in the early hours of this morning that one of his best friends since university had finally lost his 5 year fight against a brain tumour. A sad day in our household.

L'Artisan Fleur d'Oranger today. Have a lovely day everyone!
Good morning and Happy Monday! May this be the start of a wonderful week for all.
Evangeline, I love that Chanel ad!
I am starting out the week in the lovely Boadicea the Victorious - Divine. Would love to explore more from this house.
Starting the week in Ava Luxe No. 23. Have a good one, all.
Stay safe and dry, Foustie! We have backslid into cold temps again-but at least the sky isn't beating on us!
My condolences, (((sfmedusa))). Very sorry to hear such sad news. Take good care of each other, today and always.
In Amouage Epic; only for the moment, though. This one must go. Time to scrub!
