Knize Two. So good!
Thread: SOTD 15 th May 2013 Wednesday
good morning lovely people,
i feel bad i was neglecting this part of the forum which is probably the most honest, and real part of the forum for perfume lovers,
today i am wearing vintage Ubar, yes very 1st one i got from a lovely perfume lover here in Croatia, and what can i say?
2009 version is much more similar to it then this newest version that probably started in 2011?.....compared to 2009 version it smells just a touch more jasminey maybe, and opens up as more natural smelling but its very similar indeed to 2009 wich seems like a touch more "heavy" but i just think they are very similar.
cazaubon thank you for your support, unfortunately forum rules are that i am not alowed to speak of it, and risk beeing banned
Jon Rodgers yes its disgusting!....was too worried and trying to sort things out which never looked ok from the start, so for the last 3 months i was not participating here....
Twolf some things are just beyond our wildest imagination
you guys here are the best part of this place!!
Iivanita, very sorry to read what happened(((

Hello Lucasai! So nice to see you. I had been wondering where you were!
Today I'm wearing Dior - Miss Dior
Good Morning Everyone

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Good morning all !. Wolfie, hope things are more comfortable for you today. I know there are plenty of sun lovers here, but I can't see many people actually enjoying the sort of extremes you had to suffer yesterday.
SotD is Arquiste Aleksandr.
Glad to see you back, Lucas
Bonjour Mesdames! Bog kako si, iivanita?
Jo Malone Osmanthus Blossom, from a sample pass. So far, so good, probably not FBW for me but pretty anyway. Not that much osmanthus here on me. I gotta group my thoughts together and post on the dedicated thread.
JR, you and ExtremeK are the only two I know who actively wear Aleksandr (Pushkin?).
Have a nice hump day, all.

Hello everyone, vintage Helena Rubinstein Heaven Sent for me today, a sweet, powdery, dreamy walk down memory lane.
Best to all.

In case anyone missed the announcement, BN is going offline for 8 hours today (6-2 Pacific time) while they move it over to the new site.
I'm in Mary Chess White Lilac today.
I've got to hurry over to Mom's to help her get dressed, breakfast etc. I'm still going over multiple times a day. She still has a lot of pain in her left ?hip? (she localizes it in her hip but I'm not at all sure that is where it is originating; it seemed to me like a pulled Latissimus dorsi muscle but it's going on rather too long for a pulled muscle.) I've got an appointment to take her to her orthopedist tomorrow so we'll see what the x-rays show. I've also got her on antibiotics again as she was showing some increased confusion-- difficulty articulating, trying to put her pat of butter into her coffee at dinner (the ladies who sit with her told me), etc. Depending on what happens in the the next few weeks, I may hire assisted living services to dress her in the morning.
Good morning, everyone -
I'm in Chanel '32. Y'all have a good day!
Thank you Kiliwia and Wolfie, and again to Jon, for the encouragement ...I suppose adding a few hours to my work schedule is rather unremarkable, but getting my own class is something I've never even considered so it's pretty strange and exciting territory for me, and your votes of confidence mean a lot.
Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan

There are three kinds of people in this world: those who understand math and those who don't (four out of three people surveyed agree with this).
Happy birthday, Musse -- You're smelling fine wherever you are, I'm sure.
Hey, ornithologists, we've got an oriole singing the Torchwood theme song. You know, the 10-second, back-and-forth of two notes in a somewhat panicked style:
The closest Oriole song I've found online is here: http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/B..._Oriole/sounds
(the second recording, entitled "several variations")
Our feathered fella is singing Torchwood spot on, which is kinda cool and kinda creepy when one is out there. Someday one of the industries around here is going to make a Tardis noise, and I'll be looking for the raggedy Doctor and his blue box to appear.
No scent yet.
Good day to you all I'm trying very hard to find a way to get my partner to the funeral on Friday, with the small problem that it is in Holland and we're in England and he can only take the day off the funeral off work, so it's turning into a bit of a nightmare trying to organise travel.
Oh well- if it can't be done then it can't be done.
I'm doing this whilst exploring Elie Saab EdP, which is very nice but an awful lot more floral than I think my brain can handle today.
Hope everybody's having a good one.

Good morning, everyone! Nice day here, the wind has finally died down.
Happy Birthday, Musse!
Thank you, 30 Roses for the down time information, I hadn't heard about it.
Wearing Womanity, sad so many people dislike this one. I really like it, it's
unique in a good way.
Have a great day!
