ErinK, it used to, not any more: now that one have to walk a mile to the grocery store (and then a mile back) or, as an option, drive 18 miles to the other closest location. BTW, in France they have adopted a law in the 1990s: no one but the owner can live above the bakery, for the risk of fires. There is always an alternative: bake your own! And yes, if you want to eat one baguette at a sit, there is no law against it.

    Trying Amouage Fate (Women) tonight.

ErinK I <3 your posts. Hehe. I go to the organic markets on the weekend with my big straw basket and visit my butcher, fromagerie and fishmonger once a week as the other days I usually eat out (perks of having family and friends in the food biz). The rest of the stuff gets delivered to my house as I'm really not a supermarket girl (no time and too easily distracted). Rose 31 is wonderful I'm on my second bottle and eyeing a third when I go travelling next year.

    Good evening everyone!

So thrilled to see the Chicago pix! Can't wait for more. What lovely basenoters havine such a lovely time.

Larima, Jeke is so potent yet so comforting. Glad you have found "your" tobacco fragrancew.

Myself, this is about day 8 of an Amarige-athon. I think there's more than aesthtics going on. The scent is nostalgic; I've called it dime-store fabulous because it reminds me of those little girl perfume sets one could get at Woolworth's. As it happens, I wore it while teaching third grade last week, and a little boy exclaimed as I stood by his desk, "wow, you smell good!" Yep, something in this loud, happy fragrance is about childhood.
What do insomniac perfumers do to fall asleep? They count chypres!
