Thread: The Angry Birds fragrances |
I saw these in duty free a week ago. I tried a sprits of the yellow birdie and got a sweet, fruity inoffensive smell. They were in the same section as the Barbie fragrances, so I guess they are meant for the kids. You could do worse, I suppose. Worth keeping in mind for Christmas! From what I can tell they launched in September.

In my mind, the green one should smell like pig and honeydew melon.
I can see how these could be popular with kids. A good holiday stocking stuffer IMO.

I won't buy anything from the line until it releases Mighty Eagle, which is ostensibly being worked on by Annick Menardo, Bertrand Duchaufour, Jean-Claude Ellena, and Michel Roudnitska. The first sketches of the perfume were apparently left behind by Edmond Roudnitsa 2 years before he died.
Great "gateway" fragrances for the children.
I was sniffing, I am told, about the time I learned to walk.

Good for Halloween.
My niece, who is 10 and who wanted to bring me a holiday present of a bottle of Terry de Gunzburg Ombre Mercure because she liked it when Mummy let her have a spray in the perfumerie while on holiday, was bought some perfume for her recent birthday. She told me that it was really thoughtful of people to buy her perfume, but it was just the perfume which is meant for little girls, which just smells like sweet candy floss and doesn't have anything more interesting about it.
I somehow think I've spoiled her 'little girl' sensibilities by letting her have a sniff inside my perfume cupboard....

When we were little, we used to play at making 'scent' from petals rather often...as did my child and friends more recently!
Buy them now before they reformulate the lot and turn them into mere shadows of the originals...![]()

If they're exposed to decent stuff when young, it does help imo - but it may be a good idea to be prepared for little accidents and lock up the really special stuff!
(My daughter still isn't aware of my vintage 'attar' stash...).
I think I will stay put on this one and only play the game...
