Default Anyone try the "repackaged" Oud Wood by Tom Ford?

I haven't had a chance to track it down anywhere to sniff out. So if anyone has smelled it can you tell me if it has been reformulated at all? Either in the way it smells or the potency of it.

    Thanks all!

Unfortunately I haven't smelled it yet, but I'm chiming in simply because almost literally as I was browsing this post, I saw on the Saks catalog the pic of the new trio. Apparently, there is also a oud wood shower gel, body cream, and soap. I'm all for side products (though $65 and 35 for the soap seems a bit overpriced).

Yeah I just saw the body products also, on Luckyscent. Top notch packaging, of course - just gorgeous. I wish I liked Oud Wood but honestly I find it super boring.

I got my bottle last Saturday. My serial says it was made Aug 2013. Longevity is confusing on this one. I used to think it was weak, but it does one of those Aventus acts. My guess it's olfactory fatigue.

I bought it last week. It still smells fantastic, not that impressed with the longevity but then I wasn't with the old one. Wouldn't be without it though.

The juice is exactly the same to my nose.

Seems to smell the same but the "oud" note seems stronger. The SA at Nordstrom brought up reformulation and said that it was "tweaked" a little. Says that the oud was amplified. Because he brought it up without me asking about it i tend to think he wasnt just making up the info as SAs often do.

I walked in wearing my already owned/older bottle of Oud Wood and found that they both smelled identical to me.

Longetivity was always somewhat of an issue so I wouldn't go based on that. Although as someone remarked up above I have gotten compliments from those standing near me when I think it's gone and mostly a skin scent, so perhaps it's one that many get anosmic too over the course of the day rather than actually a weak fragrance. Even if it were actually short-lived, though, it's one of my top 10. Well-done scent, mild oud.

tried the new trio last week (though only the packaging was new for Oud Wood). Still smells the same, longevity didn't improve one bit. And the other 2.......were underwhelming.

Identical to my nose (I've got 4ml samples of both) and more than one SA and a manager told me nothing changed but the bottle design.

Still one of the better non-Oud ouds, although Tobacco Oud ramps up the interest a bit.
