Default In Praise of "La Route d'Emeraude" by ISABEY

I am so smitten with this perfume. Jasmine is a very difficult note to handle and here is masterfully dealt with. After a sample, I just had to have a full bottle and bought it at AusLiebeZumDuft. The scent is also available at LUCKYSCENT but the German firm gives bigger samples.

Basenotes lists this perfume as Discontinued. http://www.basenotes.net/ID26134780.html

Meanwhile, it is new and available. LUCKYSCENT has the scoop. http://www.luckyscent.com/shop/detail.asp?itemid=27105

(This user is not affiliated with LUCKYSCENT.)

The scent is so gorgeous that I would be getting a back-up bottle to be sure ... but it just came back recently, so no fear of discontinuance now.

I have trouble liking some of the perfumes which contain jasmine. For that note, when not well done, the polite term "cat litter box" comes to mind. Am rather sure that I am not the only one.

Let me include a link to an article by Elena Vosnaki, published on May 18, 2010, in her blog PERFUME SHRINE, where she sheds some light.
