Missoni Aria - SO beautiful creamy woody-floral cashmeran stuff. I own some bottles and I love it on my girl. On me it`s just not half as nice.
Bond Chinatown - I love the way this smells. But it's just "not me". Very feminine but beautiful.
And this is from a guy who enjoys and wears Dior Homme, DHI, Midnight in Paris, and many other "feminine leaning scents" without hesitation.
What is your "I love this but it isn't for me" scent?

Se son fiori fioriranno ...
Fahrenheit
Ambre Precieux
Lumiere Noir
Pear + Olive (I love this one...but sometimes it's hard to pull off)
Back to Black
Itasca (love the way it smells, but it actually gives me a headache)
Versace Dreamer
Black XS
Fahrenheit as well here- though I like its flankers, while I acknowledge it as a well-made, superbly crafted scents, I far more "respect it from a distance" than actually consider wearing it.
Some Amouage Fragrances
Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve my or other Basenoters' acknowledgement or respect.
Slumberhouse fragrances just aren't for me though I understand they are very appealing for other Basenoters.
I really like L`Air du Desert Marocain as it is such a evocative fragrance but it's just too strong to wear and I like versatility in my fragrances. Same goes for Tobacco Vanilla.
Some/ most Amouage, Slumberhouse, and Chypres ( category)
a fragrance I can sniff all evening… so long as it is on a strip…or if it was on Mme. James (who regrettably does not like fragrance)
Serge Lutens Datura Noir, beautiful, tosses something new at you with every sniff, but it is just too sweet for this ol guy.
ditto TF Black Orchid.
Most chypre. But I still wear them sometimes though.

Sycomore . I like it but it's vetiver and honey glazed ham. I just can't wear it.

Ambre Precieux...it smells great from the bottle but on me, I think it smells way to femme....my wife rocks it much better than I.
I was born to shoot guns and smell good doin it!

Most recently LIDG and Egoiste.. Gonna give them one more try, but they don't seem to fit for me.

Annick Goutal Neroli - absolutely beautiful but may turn out to be too feminine for me. I may relent and get a bottle anyway.
Some of the Cartier Heures - Promise, Vertueuse. They're beautifully done but I can't wear them frequently. Just has to be an every-now-and-then kinda thing.
Although I'm a rose lover, there are certain rose notes in fragrance that turn bad on my skin. I would love to be able to wear tea rose soliflores and have them smelled like rose instead of rancid piss but I can't
Hate to say it, but Encre Noire doesn't agree with me sometimes.
Hmm -- strange thread unless you mean 'feminines' For all others, if I really like it, I'll wear it.
For instance, I love Arpege for Women but would feel self-conscious wearing it.
LIDG and Egoiste. Both very interesting but doubt I'll wear.

1740 by Histoires de Parfums. I find it hard to wear, esp. in this climate.
LIDG and Egoiste. Both very interesting but doubt I'll wear. But will definitely try again for learning.

LIDG and Egoiste. Both very interestin but don't think I'll wear. Will try again to make sure.
Some women's perfumes perhaps but I do wear them too, only restricting when and where (just like when it comes to other scents).
Kouros.
