Default Blown away completely by Van Cleef and Arpels pour homme...

Guys, especially all you younger folks here, I urge you to give it a try, seriously. Forget Midnight in Paris (which is great by the way), this one is very good! Maybe some would not like the strong opening (I do ) but it's an absolute joyride from there on.
And if you unfortunately use the argument that this is dated/from the 70s/for old men, then all I can say is....
    I just turned 27 btw..
After Midnight in Paris and this one, I think I'm very keen on Tsar now.

My favorite frag to date. Strong, masculine, inoffensive to others, and says "I mean business."
Cheap to buy and great longevity. What's not to like?
You may not get many ladies complimenting you on it, since it's not "sweet" or "fresh," but they will know you are a serious dude.

It's great to see this fragrance mentioned and appreciated. Incidentally, one of my favorites too. More than enough depth, edginess yet also smoothness, classic style, powerhouse-tier longevity and projection, plus leathery and wonderfully spicy richness in this one.

Im gonna give this one a try, I adore the likes of Azzaro PH, Antaeus and Rive Gauche so I'll hazard a guess I'd be into this too?

It's a wonderful scent for sure.

    <<--- Agree.

VC&A PH is one of the best among powerhouse fragrances; I do not find it dated at all...

I tried this the other day. Nice yes, but it didn't grab me enough to buy it. Though my wife liked it more than I did.
