Default Good fall/winter frag for a student?

Looking for something casual, non offensive so I can wear it in college classes or other settings. I have Givenchy Play Intense and it's pretty good, but it feels a little "clubby" for classroom use.

I like Chanel Egoiste (the regular Egoiste, not the Platinum version). Smooth, warm, sandalwoody. Good for class, but elegant enough for other situations as well.

I would suggest Terre D Hermes.

i have really been enjoying Ch for men by Carolina Herrera. its a great fragrance and is non-offensive in my opinion. it has great projection and great longevity. i get 6+ hours with this fragrance every time. give it a try!

Some great suggestions above. Please also try

Costume National Homme - check out the reviews here on BN and/ or Fragrantica.

Cost $, but smells like $$$
    Awesome longevity, projection, and sillage.
Don't overspray as it might be cloying.

    Good luck!

I would suggest L'Occitane Eau de Baux. It's relatively cheap, smells wonderful, garners plenty of compliments and has all day longevity without being excessively cloying. I think everyone should have a bottle of this stuff for fall wear.

If Play Intense is too clubby then maybe go with something subtle..
Burberry Touch fits the bill if you don't want projection but do want sillage

Boss Bottled (#6), CK Shock and Burberry London are 3 of my everyday workhorses for cooler weather. All of them inexpensive.

Declaration by Cartier, great all year long but I think it comes alive in the winter. Woody, sweet, dynamic scent. Buy online and save a lot of money,

Spice bomb by victor and Rolf . You'll smell spicy and warm yet subtle. Or some amen by Thierry mugger if you want some sweetness

I'd say any of the Chanel fragrances would fit the bill. Try Prada Amber PH or Versace PH. Gotta give Burberry London a +1 as well. It's Christmas in a bottle.

Boss Bottled, Burberry London, Chanel Allure & flankers, GPH II, L'Occitane EDB and Spicebomb are all solid choices offered above, IMO.
