Default New threads filter / RSS
    -
This post was made as an issue

Previously we could filter by new posts and new threads.

Currently we can only filter new posts.

Grant, would you please add the ability to filter by new threads.

Also, previously we could subscribe to new posts and new threads via RSS. Now it doesn't work.

The RSS feed lists new articles on basenotes.net and nothing to do with forum threads.

I actually brought this up a couple of years ago and you instantly resolved.

    Thanks.

Do you mean on this page? http://www.basenotes.net/activity.php

I've added the feature to the feature request list, and I'll see if there is an optional add-on from vBulletin to do this.

I'll get the details for that shortly

Okay, here are the RSS feeds for:

    All new forum threads:

    http://www.basenotes.net/external.php?type=RSS2

If you want RSS for individual forums then click on the orange RSS button next to the individual forum on the main forum page:
    http://www.basenotes.net/forum.php

So the feed for MFD is :

    http://www.basenotes.net/external.ph...S2&forumids=17

(You can get more than one forum feed by adding the forum id's on the end separated by a comma - so for example

    http://www.basenotes.net/external.ph...umids=15,17,19

    Hi Grant,

    This one:
    http://www.basenotes.net/external.php?type=RSS2

Shows me feeds last updated June 10.

    The individual ones work.

Thats odd. I'm seeing them from today -- what RSS reader are you using?

    I am using Feedly.

Ok I got the "all new threads" to work by adding .xml to :

    http://www.basenotes.net/external.php?type=RSS2

    So with http://www.basenotes.net/external.php?type=RSS2.xml it worked

    - - - Updated - - -

But the all channel doesn't seem right.

The MFD Channel shows a few new threads added in the past 2-3 hours.

These threads do not appear in the all channel.
