Why do celebs name their kids weird names? Not to single anyone out but why do they pick such strange ones?

Btw, I just found out I am carrying triplets, I am thinking to name them:

Pecan Laser Moonfreckle- I love pecan pie and the rest, well, it's just cool.

Gamma Ray Gouda- gamma rays, cool, and I like gouda cheese.

Andromeda Mint Puff, what's there not to like?

    What do you think, guys?.

Default Spitting Fish and a "DUI" That Has To Be Seen

This is an interesting look at and discussion of the physics behind the archerfish's ability to squirt insects off vegetation and ...gulp...eat them. Somewhat involved in physics but well explained, and the enclosed videos are worth a look even if you don't read the text.

Ok, now for an hilarious "DUI" video:

I don't know why but the video is truncated on the right side on my screen. Double-left click on the video and it becomes full (if it is truncated on your screen also)

    That really took me back.
I kept archer fish when I was a teenager.
They used to keep me awake "shooting" during the night.

I am happy you all enjoyed it.

Martinijo, you are the first person I have ever heard of who kept archer fish! I used to raise tropical fish when I was a young 'un. No arche fish though. Mostly angels, tetras and zebras.

I love that DUI video. I've seen it before but it's still a great one. And that bit on the Archer fish and the fancy worm is quite remarkable. Pretty hard to imagine how they would have evolved such incredible abilities.

So today, I'm cleaning out my refrigerator.

Because that is what I do for fun.

And while I am at it, I keep thinking that there has to be a better way to store and organize fresh food. HOW do the crazy things get stuck in the back???

This DUI video scares me. Is this normal in the U.S. that police officers are interacting with people in this way? If a police officer would ask me to say the alphabet backwards or do certain dance steps I'd ask him to get me to the office so I could speak to his or her superior. They represent the law and are making fun of this guy. And filming it. To me that is sick.

Can someone in the UK or anyone else please tell me who the very first musical artist is that appears before Sting and Boy George at 1:45 singing the lyric: "And there won't be snow in Africa this Christmas time" in the 1984 video "Do they Know it's Christmastime at All by Band Aid. He also appears at 2:06-2:07. I can't for the life of me figure out who he is or what group he was part of.

I just discovered this super-talented group. Regardless of your religious persuasion I think you will enjoy hearing this acapella rendition of Little Drummer Boy:

Even though I'm partial to the Harry Simeone Chorale version, this rendition is excellent. Thanks for sharing.

Other main man in the group was keyboard player Mick Taylor and his future wife D.C. Lee also appears in this video.

    Default What song is this?

It's a dance track. The lyrics are 'switch it up switch it up'. It's sung by a girl.
