The website indicates you can use the sample credit on anything except more samples (e.g. the fancy bottles). Anyone know if that's the case? I'd be more inclined to get a sample set if that's true.

Yep! Once you get the sample set, the money you spent on said set can be "reused" if you will toward any order that is not of another sample set (lest the cycle would continue). There is also, to my knowledge, no time limit on the credit, meaning you could use it 5 years later when your samples are all used up. That's what I am doing.

Have you tried them? If so, which ones and why are they not worth the cost?

Chypre Palatin and Invasion Barbare are two of the most incredible scents that I have ever tried and this is after 30+ years of loving fragrance.

Would I like to pay less for them? Of course but I can't so I bite the bullet financially and enjoy these incredible fragrances. If you've tried them and you can honestly say that you don't like them then I understand but even if you don't like them, can you appreciate their construction and the materials and creativity involved in that construction?

Edit to add; do you love Creed fragrances or any other niche stuff? If you don't think MDCI fragrances are worth the price, how do you feel about other, expensive niche fragrances in general?

Agree with the above - however, I will buy the bottle only & no bust - this house is similar to by Kilian - if you buy the whole package, you are spending way more than the actual cost of the parfum - imho...I buy only refills of Kilian & although I own only IB from MDCI, I do intend buying Chypre Palatin in the future.

Lately I've been starting to convince myself that every serious fragrance lover needs to at least try Chypre Palatin. It is seriously one of the best compositions I've ever smelled. I have about 24 mL (less now I am sure), but I think it will be the one I buy a bottle of. I tend to wear it more than IB, which I also adore.

Scroll down about half way to see the information about their outstanding sample program. I think of their official samples as minis - they are sized quite generously. The price of a set of samples can be deducted from the purchase of a full bottle.
The above site seems to be down??? Any idea whats happening?

Hope it gets back up soon cant resist looking at the perfumes and dreaming...waiting to gather the funds till i can order the sample set.

Probably just changing host or having a re-vamp - Chypre Palatin's on my 'to do' list from there

Tried three or four of their scents, couldn't care less. Absolutely overpriced for me!

I found another I really like- Vepres Sicilienes. Soft peach and incense. Normally I'm tired of incense but here it gives weight to the delicate peach. Very elegant.

Is anyone familiar with this line? Which other scents are worth trying? Does the company have a sample program?
Sorry, I just wrote a reply without reading this. I agree 100%!! Looking forward to getting this!

Yeah, it's interesting to see a company that sells such expensive luxury goods hosting their web site on a FREE, yes, FREE web hosting platform. That thing was designed for freebie, personal junk sites, not for commercial hosting, especially for what one would consider premium luxury brand. Their account finally got cancelled, it seems. You'd think they could afford to spend a few bucks on at least some cheapie web hosting plan. I emailed them over a year ago and extended free hosting services altogether (I own couple web hosting companies) but never heard back from them. Oh well.

Totally worth the price just for the excellent service Claude provides!

Invasion Barbare and Chypre Palatin are excellent... Cuir garamante has that sharp note that I hate but Nuit Andalouse is an amazing floral. All his fragrances have very good longevity.

After wearing the best cologne I've ever tried (Invasion Barbare) and smelling it pretty strongly on my skin eleven hours later I'd have to say yes. Two tiny sprays is all it took. Double the price, double the longevity, and double the quality means half the price, if you think about it.

I love some of them - have Enlevement au Serail, Rivage des Syrtes, Vepres Siciliennes and Nuit Andalouse. To me they are worth it.
