Sova for sure, the beeswax is insanely animalic and realistic. It's not my cup of tea...but it's one of the best out there.

Very sad to see it phased out, but given the ingredients (the beeswax for one thing), it's absolutely understandable as to why. I'm just glad that I stocked up while I could.
I knew someone would be ahead of me in suggesting Sova...

APLS is a beautiful parfum, however, Sova edges it for me...

Sova for me as well. Wore it on Monday and was told that I smelled like an emptied glass of Maker's Mark that has been sitting for a while. I was reassured that this was indeed intended as a compliment...lol.

I really love this stuff. Happy to have gotten a bottle before they were gone forever.

That IS a great one, isn't it? I love it, too!

I should note that fans of Back to Black, Tobacco Vanille, Pure Havane, and Fumerie Turque can vote for those in my "favorite tobacco" poll, instead. It's here: http://www.basenotes.net/threads/343...cco?highlight=
Tea for Two and Five O'clock au Gingembre were part of my "favorite tea" poll: http://www.basenotes.net/threads/368...tea?highlight= while Muscs Koublaï Khän can be found in my "favorite musk" poll: http://www.basenotes.net/threads/323...ted?highlight=

Really? So far, you're the first one out of 50 voters to mention it. But thank you for participating and for your kind suggestion.

Although I don't like it, I was surprised to see this absent from the poll.

I voted 'other'. Namely, Bvlgari Man. I don't like a prominent honey note as it can seem urinous but it's relatively subdued here.

Edit: I must add my SOTD to this; Volutes by Diptyque.

Thanks for voting, everybody. It is clear by now that Absolue pour le Soir is by far the strongest contender here, racing ahead of everyone else at incredible speed. Far, far behind in the following places, Miel de Bois, Bois d'Argent, and Moss Breches are struggling, not to catch up with invincible AplS, but just to get ahead of the rest of the competition. Very interesting!
Thanks again for participating and for all your great comments and suggestions. And do feel free to go on voting, guys - the poll stays open!
