Can anyone add their impressions on this one? Very interested and there is not much discussion that I can find.

Probably one of my favorite smoky leathery woods. I love the spicy opening with the interplay of the cardamom frankincense and coriander. Also the hint of patchouli in the dry down is also very nice. Longevity on my skin is above average as well as projection. Great scent IMO.

Great scent. Until he released Heliotrope, it was by far my favorite in the Durbano's range. Smoky woods and incense on a spicy-mossy-bamly base. Just a tad of sweetness to preserve it from becoming too challenging. Top quality stuff, IMO.

I love this one too. a lot of incense to start then drying down into the peppery, woods as mentioned. Sometimes, I wish that it were more linear because I love the opening and the mids more than the base but that is not to say that the base is disappointing at all. This one is my favorite Durbano so far but I still need to try the Lapis.

I wonder how the Durbano extrait's stack up?!?!?

Reminds me of Polo, minus the "green" and slightly charred.

Durbano's incenses are very chic, Black Tourmaline starts really smoky and slowly gets more spicy and peppery with a distinctive burnt accord.
