Wearing No 5 EDT and EDP side by side.

The EDT seems more spicy-woody-smooth than the louder EDP. EDP comes off as more medicinal/acidic, more floral. Interesting. EDP is kind of in your face...brash...EDT is like hello, I am wearing No 5 EDT. Interesting!

Twins with kalli in Chanel No.5 just the EdP side.

Kalli, do you have the modern versions or vintage? I'm enjoying your comparison as I've always gravitated towards the EdP and parfum. I haven't had the EdT for a couple of years now, how's the longevity so far?

Hello everyone. Joining Kalli and Xscent in Chanel, #22 for me. As for #5, I have read that there are differences in the way it smells depending on the concentration. I can confirm this based on current edt and vintage edc. Of the two I prefer the latter as I find it smoother, deeper, and rounder. The edt is thinner and sharper and doesn't last very long on me.

Wish you all a lovely Sunday.

Had a great Saturday, finally bought that furniture we saw two weeks ago, will be delivered tomorrow. Did not get any leftovers of K's snow, not yet. I wore Chanel Bois des Iles.

Today and I am craving figs and ExtremeK.

Thanks Tdem I agree. Mines an old EdP and I love it, dreading when it runs out. Deeper down the rabbit hole I go. Adding obligatory photo.

ExtremeK happy to report that a dozen oysters and champagne were consumed before the Opera last night. Was thinking of you! I won't tease you with a pic

Twolf smelling wonderful! I have no figs but I do have a heap of mulberries and nectarines currently ripening in my garden which ended up topping the custard tarts I made for dessert this evening.

Good morning all !. Out of the loop yesterday hunting for a few Christmas ideas. Finally got round to trying the Keiko Mecheri line in Liberty and came away quite impressed overall. I had a feeling that Iris D'Argent might appeal and it certainly lived up to expectation, also liked Peau de Peche. I suspect a return visit will be on the cards before too long .

Couldn't make a visit to the capital without the compulsory pilgrimage to the perfumery at Fortnum and Mason, a personal favourite.

Welcoming and knowledgable staff and a stunning variety in delightful surroundings. No purchases, but plenty of ideas and a great experience as usual.

    SotD is M.Micallef Gaiac.

Sunny and colourful day here. Exercise, fresh air, coffee and cake seem favourite, though not necessarily in that order .
    Enjoy your Sunday.

Glad you're all having a great day.

I'm in Amouage Fate Woman yet again.
I just can't get enough of it.

Come to think of it, it reminds of Ylang 49. From a DNA perspective at least.

Another lazy start to the day today. lt's gloriously sunny, if cold outside, so we're off to the pub in a bit for a late lunch.

    Good morning, everyone!

We've also had a lazy start, watching the tennis from London while enjoying our pétit dejeuner in bed, but now it's time for us to get out and play, and I'm ready for it. It's clear and crisp and bright, so it's a beautiful day and I'm feeling quite on my game, but I've got to be careful now. Tony's getting much better, and I can no longer take a win for granted ...I totally know how Roger feels, lol!

I'm in Bel Respiro - y'all have a fantastic day!

Jon, thank you for the guided tour! Lovely. Twolf, I will have to try Bois des Isles one of these days, after my sense of smell returns. Your constancy motivates me.

It's Sunday, time for NYT and NPR. Still sniffly, sense of smell barely returned, I don Hypnotic Poison, of which my impaired nose gets mostly the powdered sugar doughnut note.

    Pleasant Sunday to all.

Modern versions. I haven't paid too much attention to the longevity so far but I'd say it's decent I guess but not like super long idk... I scrubbed off early on this last application as I have had a cold.

My turn to head off on holidays. Hopping a plane tomorrow for in Bali and then to Fiji to check out potential wedding venues for my sister. Packing bikini, sunscreen and books. Decided to unplug for a bit and leave all digital devices at home. So one day of work left for me, yay!

Thanks Kiliwia and shades ! You would love it, I tend to go very year or so just because it's relatively easy to get to where I am. All a bit last minute as it tends to be with my crazy family but I'm NOT complaining. Will have copious amounts of drinks in coconuts with little umbrellas on your behalf. Lucky packing is a breeze! Love your signature shades, had a good giggle when I first saw it

Just to keep it perfume related vintage Fahrenheit is amazing, sexy leather, woods, floral and greens. I'm in sensory heaven.
