Default Hadrien Absolu by Annick Goutal

Imagine sipping a beautifully crafted Limoncello at a sunny Portofino cafe on a perfect Summer day. That would be Hadrien Absolu, a spectacular lemon bomb exploding with delicious Amalfi lemons. I'm not much of a citrus guy because I don't much care for sharp edges in my fragrance, but Hadrien Absolu's opulent approach changed my tune altogether. No fizz or blinding acidity; no cloying Lemon Pledge or Lemon Meringue pie; just rich, saturated lemon decadence tempered with a wee bit of ylang-ylang and cypress on the dry-down.

    Two more bottles, please.

I like this one a lot. Annick Goutal makes a lot of nice lemon fragrances.

When did this come out? I've not run into it yet. As good as Acqua Viva by Profumum?

Does it last at least 6 hours? The Eau d'Hadrien is too short-lived.

I almost bought it blind but then doubted its longevity.

On my skin it does, but then again everyone's skin is different. (387)

Of all the excellent Goutal lemon scents, my favorite is Les Nuits d'Hadrien.

I don't remember exactly when it appeared on the market. I got mine a few years ago at Bloomingdales in store and I remember it was $100 for 100ml. Funny the Bloomingdales in my area doesn't even carry Annick Goutal anymore.
