I don't think the link is working, but it sounds intriguing

This is awesome, and I love some stank! But please keep the rules in mind about starting the same thread in multiple forums -- we're trying to keep the place neat and tidy

I'll go ahead and lock up the MFD and FFD ones.

    Cheers!

2.3 Do not post the same thread in more than one forum (cross-posting).

Please ensure that you post your thread once in the most relevant forum. Most members browse through all the forums, and do not wish to see the same threads in each one. It is more useful when all the replies to the thread topic to be in one place. That way it is easier for searchers to find all the replies and thus all the information, rather than hunting for it and replying to it in multiple and scattered places.

Any duplicate threads may be deleted or merged.

Thanks for the link - I like that they encourage the use of the word 'stank' over 'skank' due to the sexism of the latter.

I received written permission from Grant earlier today to post in forums, but I found out he only meant one.

I don't like skanky/stanky notes such as civet, castoreum. I don't find them sexy at all.

Thanks for the link ms. anya.

At the risk of derailing this thread just a tiny bit... may I make a request of you, ms. anya, to post a thread updating or communicating the status/success etc. of your efforts in conjunction with cropwatch in your wraslin' match with the IFRA folks. I did some internet googlin' research a few weeks back and your efforts seemed to be the only organized grassroots effort out there. Yet, unless I'm mistaken, it all seems to have gone dark sometime in 2010, no?

    UPDATE:
Two more articles are up! Great one by Abdes Salaamattar and in another, Bruce Bolmes is revealed as the only person in the US with a permit to import musk. Two more great article to come, one on Hurricane Sandy and Ambergris, another on a new find in the animal world, a fixative that is renewable and is not harmful to the animal.
