Another question for everyone. The creed card i got with aventus is double sided like it was a card folded in half. My original santal card just had a small flap folded with james and olivier's name on it. This is my second creed fragrance so i am not sure if each one has a different card design or if these are the new cards. Always checking to be sure that everything is fine and no sine of any kind of counterfeit material. My original santal card has de pere en fils depuis 1760 written i nthe middle of james and olivier in larger legible print as the aventus card has the same writing but in much smaller and scripted writing.

When you receive a bottle of Creed, you must resist smelling it before you have scrubbed your hands and forearms for five full minutes and donned your loupes so you can fully inspect every minute detail of the packaging. Be sure to wear a hairnet when you disassemble the bottle for proper inspection.

Come on now, your not serious are you,and its kinda sad your so OBSESSED with your colognes, that you nick pick with issues that are really meaningless, there comes a time in which we should all GROW UP and don't be so OBSESSIVE over something like cologne,it seems like your having a very hard time understanding what EVERYONE is telling you, hopefully soon you'll get it together.

Wow i have stirred up some anger here. No i was not trolling. Most of you should know (generally speaking) there are several red flags to indicate a creed frag could be fake so im just addressing every little thing i suspect. A little offended also. I have sprayed it, not as strong as i thought it was going to be but still need to do testing. Kinda smokey up top, dies down quickly some fruit comes in. Not detecting very strong pinneapple but its there. It seems balanced out.

If everyone is responding in a certain manner, that should probably be a red flag that its not us, its you. If you had legitimate concerns, you would've received legitimate answers. Yes, most of us know indicators of a fake. No, nothing you've brought up is even remotely a cause for concern. Spend your time doing some reading thru this thread instead of microanalyzing your bottle and you wouldn't need to make so many asinine posts.

You know what I'm starting to think this person is just doing this on purpose just to see how much he can actually get away with before BASENOTES steps in and does something about it.

Question Help with my Virgin Island Water lot number

Hey guys just wondering if someone could help me with my lot number. Just received my 120ml bottle of viw from fragrancenet. I'm not questioning the authenticity at all, I know it's legit and smells great, (I've purchased a ton of creeds from them) I was just wondering if someone could shed some light on my lot number. I know some of them have numbers in them that represent the year they were made. My lot is
    A6210M01
That 10 in there couldn't possibly mean its a 2010 batch could it? I would just hope my juice isn't already 4 years old. Could anyone shed some light?
    Thanks!

Yeah, that means it's 2010, but it's still perfectly fine (you yourself said it smells great). I don't believe the aging really starts until the first spray from the bottle anyway. And remember, people pay a HUGE premium for 2011 Aventus (X02 and Z01), regardless of whether or not it is new or aged. Enjoy!

Default Creed samples: True to bottles?

I am going to pick up a few samples of creed to see how I like them. I was just wondering how samples like this are:

How much is needed to apply to get a proper whiff of these fragrances?

    Samples I'm getting

    -Adventus
    - Millesime imperial
    - Virgin island water
    - Himalaya

    Hi!

There's an existing Creed Queries thread, so we'll merge this.

    Thanks!
