Default good decant website other than perfumedcourt?

I am really itching to get my nose on bond no.9 New Harlem. I have went to numerous Sephora's, Nordstrom's, and bloomingdales, and just cant seem to find any niche fragrances other than the creed line. Perfumed court doesn't even decant new harlem unless im searching the wrong way. Any suggestions people?

The Posh Peasant seems to decant No. 9, looks like they are out of NH but maybe you could request it? Also, several BNers use a site called the Crystal Falcon for decants: http://flacon.ambaric.net/viewforum.php?f=2

Other decant/sample sites in general(not sure if they have No. 9 though) are Surrender to Chance and Luckyscent. I don't think LS does decants though, just samples.

Here are the Crystal Flacon results searching under "Haarlem". (Note the spelling, a lot of people forget the second letter A.)

Saks carries Bond No 9 and the clerks are generous with samples, especially if they know you are a potential customer.

In addition to the sites already mentioned, you can find Bond samples on eBay.

Adding: There are several large threads regarding where to get samples and decants but when it comes to Bond No 9 scents, like New Haarlem, it's good to understand some of the history of that particular company, as discussed here: http://www.basenotes.net/threads/251...ts#post1829695

Bond No 9 used to sell samples, in groups of six, very reasonably, but they stopped doing that after seeing the samples being resold on Bay at a hefty profit. There's a good likelihood it will be reinstated though.

I also like Surrender to Chance - quicker than PC. Still like PC though - too bad they're so slow.

+1 Good experience over many orders, and decent pricing.

There's a 16% off code on the landing page, they have some kind of discount on most holidays.

A big enthusiastic +1 for DECANTSHOP. http://www.decantshop.com/ I've bought from them before and my experiences were overwhelmingly positive. I feel like the Perfumed Court cheats on samples, with the size being the size of the vial not the amount of juice you're getting. The people at Decantshop are honest. Also, it takes ages for the Perfumed Court to ship. Decantshop ships fast. They're awesome.

I don't know if they carry Bond, but if you're looking for Amouage, I also highly recommend Parfums Raffy.

I'm confused. I thought 'the Perfumed Court' changed into 'Surrender to Chance'. Are they now two separate companies?

Yes, they're two separate companies now as far as I can tell. I continue to order from both depending what I'm looking for, but noticed that Surrender to Chance (dreadful name, btw) often has slightly lower prices.

Thanks for your answer, JaquesD. I agree, the name is problematic. It makes you wonder if you'll get the order you'll want or like.

That, and the fact that it reminds me of a title of a bad Harlequin Romance knock-off: "Lucrezia thought she was sure of what she wanted in a man ... but would she let herself Surrender To Chance?"

I agree with the recommendations for Decant Shop. I've used them several times and have always had outstanding customer service and super fast shipping. The selection isn't as large as some of the other websites, but their prices are fair and very reasonable. Highly recommended!

+2 Decantshop is my preferred decant answer as well. Always an easy shopping experience, pretty good selection of niche and designers, ok pricing as well.

My favorite is Surrender to Chance.. Fast delivery, friendly,
monthly discount codes and I like the 8ml bottles they use
better than Perfumed Courts...Never had any problems with
STC but had several issues with PC...leakage, had to
contact them several times for items missing...now I only
order decants from STC or Crystal Flacon...

Holy crap Surrender to Chance is so much cheaper than The Perfumed Court! I paid $26.99 for a 1.5 mL spray of Jardin d'Amalfi at TPC. Surrender to Chance has a 3 mL spray for $19.95!

I use DecantShop too, but their selection isn't nearly as large.

I've stopped using TPC a couple years ago due to their poor customer service. The decant sites I now use are Surrender to Chance, Luckyscent, and eBay. I really like Luckyscent because they use good quality vials - no leakage when they're upside-down and seem to successfully prevent air from seeping through. I first check if Luckyscent has the sample I want, if not, I go to Surrender to Chance.

I recently ordered a sample from Min New York of a fragrance that no other decant site has, crossing fingers everything goes smoothly (I didn't even know they sell samples).

I would suggest you take a look at fragrancetalk.com

In my experiences I have found it to be cheaper than perfumedcourt.
