    Default Sweet/Warm Scent

    Hey BN,

I've started collecting for a bit of time so far and have the following:
    Creed Aventus (love)
    Creed GIT(love)
    Dior Homme Intense (2012)
    YSL La Nuit
    Bleu de Chanel
    Chanel Platinum Egoiste (don't like)
    L'eau D'issey (don't like)
    Le Male (don't like)

I just tried D&B The One and absolutely love it; I'm most likely going to grab a bottle soon.
I do love La Nuit, but the opening is a bit harsh, and it gets a little too boring after it settles.
DHI is amazing... but I feel like I "want" to like it more than I actually do.

Anyways, I'm looking for a sweet/warmer scent for the upcoming season. If you guys could offer me any recommendations, that'd be great

It seems you tend to like oriental and slightly gourmand.

Have you tried the A*men? (the original and the flankers. Pure malt is probably the sweeter one).

If you want to go into niche, you could try Lutens jeux de peau (very gourmand).

Haven't tried A*men/pure malt yet, despite everyone talking about it. I will try it; the notes look very appealing. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Default Sweet/Warm Scent

Try out Mont Blanc - Individuel. Sweet, spicy, warm and longevity/projection are amazing. It smells exactly like Creed - Original Santal.

Also, check out Meharees by L`Erbolario.

One of the sweet scents i have in my collection is Emporio Armani Diamonds. I haven't really hear many people talking about this fragrance on BN too much. its a very well done cocoa which is very sweet but also masculine a the same time. It has great longevity and great projection. You will be noticed, but in a very good way. To me its a great scent and you should definitely give it a try.

You have some great recommendations already.

Maybe Montale Sweet OriŽntal Dream and Serge Lutens Arabie will be your cup of tea.

They both smell sweet like dried fruits but still are very different.

Also A Lab On Fire What We Do In Paris Is Secret is for a sweet tooth.

I agree with cacio, OP. You like oriental / woody sweet scents. I would go for anything with a combination of sandalwood and vanilla. I am currently addicted to this type of fragrance and my wallet is suicidal...

Chanel Egoiste (original) comes to mind but there are hundreds out there. One I've recently discovered is MPeG's Santal Noble. Gorgeous fragrance.

I just tried this the other day, and the opening was straight up sweet tarts candy. Another man sampling next to me agreed wholeheartedly.

Arquiste also has another one, Anima Dulcis that is sweet and warm. I haven't sniffed the one you mention Kaern, may have to try it out next time I venture into Barney's.

Guerlain Bois d'Armenie sounds like it might be something you would like.

But definitely grab yourself a bottle of D&G The One before you do anything else. Not that expensive - A+ scent.

Spicebomb by Victor & Rolf fits the bill. It's a warm, spicy fragrance (cinnamon) with some sweetness. A Longevity/Projection beast that is ideal for colder weather. Midnight in Paris (I own the EDP) is definitely worth considering as well.
