Default Would a novelty/gag fragrance lineup sell?

I was thinking about those disgusting jellybeans that taste like all sorts of unpleasant things but look normal enough. Imagine a cologne that has a nice opening, then turns into a foul smell in the drydown. Something like fish, garbage, etc....would this sell? What would you have develop in the drydown to make it funny?

    Beat me to it!
Behemoth cut a slice of pineapple, salted it, peppered it, ate it, and then tossed off a second glass of alcohol so dashingly that everyone applauded.

Exactly what came to my mind. Most of their lineup is along those lines.

Also, I can think of a few others that I think are gag fragrances, but are taken quite seriously here. Something for everyone I guess. If so many people like the smell of feces, I can't think of anything that wouldn't have some following.

Do you suppose anyone would wear it long enough to reach the dry down.

I think a nice Durian fruit note in a dry down would be pretty funny. I don't know if they make Durian absolute though. Somebody better call up the folks in Grasse

This just gave me an idea. I don’t know if it already exists but what about a similar concept but where by a line of fragrances that started off as odourless or very mild and then changed to a random scent (which was nice). So it would be a surprise what perfume you were buying.

I'm fairly sure that a member here posted (on Huddler) that he'd developed a Durian scent - maybe he will find this thread and comment.
