Dior Homme Sport (2012).
Other than that, I'm stumped!
Synthetic is sometimes good and unique, but for summer i think we must have some natural smelling floral and citrus scents to uplift our humor. You may list how many scents you think has a natural smell and the power of make you happier, uplifting you under a hot sun. In the case of this thread i am talking about designer scents only. Thanks!
Dior Homme Sport (2012).
Other than that, I'm stumped!
Tom Ford Grey Vetiver!
I like Dior Homme Sport - nice one.
Armani Code Sport! Yes - very good summer scent, and nice and natural. No weird edges.
Hermes - Eau d'Orange Verte or Concentré d'Orange Verte are both excellent for the summer. Proper colognes in general are a great choice.
Chanel Allure Edition Blanche
Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise for Men
Chopard Noble Vetiver
Bronnley Lime & Bergamot
Ferre Bergamotto Marino
Villoresi Acqua di Colonia (doesn't just smell, IS natural)
Florascent Regia (dito)
Eau de Rochas pour homme (vintage, if at all possible)
Acqua di Parma Colonia
MPG Fraiche Badiane
...off the cuff
II est de forts parfums pour qui toute matière/Est poreuse. On dirait qu'ils pénètrent le verre.
The OP asked for designer suggestions, most of yours are niche unfortunately.
Natural summer fragrance by a designer house. That's asking a lot!
I can only think of one that I really used to enjoy for hot summers, Banana Republic - M.
I was in line buying some clothing years ago, and saw this at the register. Took a sniff and thought, now THIS smells like oranges!
"I am more afraid of an army of 100 Sheep led by a Lion than an army of 100 Lions led by a Sheep."
Id probally draw the line at Dior Homme Sport or one of the Aqua Di Parma Colonia or Blu Mediteraneo fragrances.
To be honest most things ive smelt thats cheaper in price than these are neither pleasing to my nose or smell very natural...

Definitely TDH either Edt or EDP also Homme by guerlaine very distinctive lime with Mojito vibe and subtle cleanliness in the background beautiful...and can be had at a bargain ...
"Thank GOD for the nose, for without it we would not be enjoying these beautiful created Scents" also Remember "Balance is everything and the key to appreciating "
L'occitane the vert & bigarade .
Priced at designer prices and smells so natural.
Hypocrites will always be a thorn in my back....and my middle finger will always be the best remedy.....
Armani Code Sport is definitely my go-to summer fragrance along with Acqua di Gio Essenza.
Another vote for Mugler Cologne, plus YSL pour Homme and its Concentree flanker. As natural-smelling as, in my opinion, designer citrus can be.
It's the exclusive line, so I don't know if you count it as "designer," but Chanel's Eau de Cologne is great with a lot of natural citrus. Too bad it doesn't last very long. I'd also go +1 for Monsieur Balmain or one of the Hermes already mentioned.
"Perfume and incense make the heart glad..."
Dior Cologne Royale that I sneek from my ladys bottle, And Millesime Imperial , vintage Guerlain Vetiver EDC

Acqua di Gio
Guerlain Homme L'eau.
"Natural" is certainly subjective based on the suggestions so far.
I'll throw these into the mix: Cerruti Image, Tommy Bahama Set Sail St. Barts, Moschino Friends
Keep Smelling Good
Great to read all suggestions! From the list i already have and wear a lot:
Monsieur Balmain (truly a masterpiece, very realistic and here i started to love the lemon verbena note!),
Mugler Cologne - i think it's more synthetic and flowery; if i apply heavily i get more woodsy notes from it. Very fresh also.
Hermes - Eau d'Orange Verte - Great and natural smelling of the flower and the peel of the orange. unfortunately does not last long.
+1 Dior Homme Sport 2012
+1 Monsieur Balmain
But, IMO, the king of natural smelling summer designer scents:
Chanel Eau de Cologne
Eau d'Orange Verte
the L'Occitane Verbenas
the Clarins Eaux
Eau de Cartier
Chanel Pour Monsieur
YSL Pour Homme
Eau de Rochas Pour Homme
Lanvin L'Homme Sport

Lots of vintage 70s and 80s vintage designer releases would fit the bill, but if we are talking current releases then the limited distribution designer release Classical by Anat Fritz. It is a very natural smelling lavender, cedar and vetiver concoction over a dry sandalwood base that should do quite nicely year-round.
