Hi everyone - have a lovely day!
Ayoon Al Maha attar - Amouage.
Vintage EDP Fidji by Guy Laroche.
Good morning all !. Busy day in the capital yesterday making a few purchases for our forthcoming jaunt to NZ, Xmas gifts for friends and relatives, plus two back up bottles of the criminally discontinued Eau des Baux. Managed to get a quick sniff of Guerlain's Parfum du 68 among the crowds in Harrods and deemed it worthy of further investigation. Also dropped in at the long neglected Jo Malone boutique to try some of the more recent releases and came away largely uninspired . Going with a trusted old favourite today - Black Vetyver Café.
Mrs Q . Came across this festive window display at Harrods and thought of you immediately ...

Good morning, happy December everybody! Organized a bit my samples, this morning and ended up testing Etro Ambra- an unusual amber, heavy on bitter notes- myrrh and opoponax mainly. It reminds me of some other fragrances but I can't say exactly which ones
Enjoy your Sunday

Hello everyone. Vintage Houbigant Chantilly for me.
Wish you all a lovely Sunday.

Good morning! I'm enjoying Concentré de Pamplemousse Rose by Hermès on a moderate winter day.
Hello! I am recovering from a night out with friends - too much to eat
and too late to bed!
I must learn to pace myself over the festive season. Wearing Jour de Fete
for a gentle introduction to the day.
A woman without perfume is like a flower without a scent.
Anima Dulcis today, merci Carlos!
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." What I am loving right now: Shalimar vintage extrait, Chanel Bois des Iles, Chanel no. 22, Le Labo Iris 39, Guerlain Iris Ganache
Good Morning, Sweetlings!
Today is our 17th wedding anniversary. It really does feel like it was just last week when we had our celebration.
I'm wearing my DH's favorite (& the only perfume he's ever bought for me all by himself) Chanel Coco, edt over the body cream of the same.
Much love to all of you!

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs RHM.
Hi all & a very happy anniversary to the RHMs!
l wore Encens Flamboyant for work on this grey, gloomy day, & now l'm looking forward to a week off! Lots of happy pottering in store...
Have a great holiday month, everyone!

Tendre est la Nuit
Draining my sample of Bal a Versailles this evening.
Wishing you the loveliest of anniversaries, RHMs.
Wow, Jon, that window dressing fractures my imagination, and it's beautiful to boot! I'm tickled you thought of capturing it for me. Thank you.
I'm wearing Jean-Louis Scherrer. This chypre bolsters my patience for continuing to plow through a government program suffering prolonged birthing pains. In my experience, the U.S. healthcare site is still not working for me. Hope it’s working for more folks.

Happy Anniversary to RHM and RHD! Congratulations!
I'm so glad you've found one to love this year, Twolf I really enjoy 3/4 of Dambrosia -- I'll just switch to something else when the white musk gets to be too much for me. I still enjoy a really skanky musk, but the clean one just does me in.
I'm giving HdP 1899 (Ernest Hemingway) another run today. It still reminds me quite strongly of ELdO Noel au Balcon, but wearing them side-by-side, 1899 has a much sharper pepper note in the open, and the cinnamon, orange blossom, and Iris give 1899 a touch of leather (which sometimes morphs into maple syrup) that NaB lacks. 1899 seems a bit more overtly gourmand to me than does NaB, which stays pretty firmly in the spicy floral space. Both are interesting and enjoyable, but for me neither warrants a full bottle.
Good afternoon! Sorry MIA a few days, got unexpected time off from work as our vacation plan is "use it or lose it" and management decided nobody in my dept could take vacation days in December, so my immediate boss said OK to take the last week of November. Hung with the kids and did fall cleaning of house (as winter is when we open the windows in Florida, not summer).
I got a couple of samples from DSH but still nothing I really like...she makes so many different scents that I don't know if i don't like her style or just am not good at picking out what to try. But last week wore Sophie, Hippie Chic (did like that one, for someone else), and Orange; also Tabac Aurea; so it was a very American week.
Saturday Mure et Musc, today nothing yet.
Happy aniversary to the RHMadame et Monsieur.
Welcome back Robin!
Happy Anniversary to the RHM and the RHD! You both have GOT to be Red Hot!
I'm wearing Keiko Mecheri Crystal D'Ambre from the Blanket of Benevolence, a'la Chicago. It's really pretty lovely, of course I am a sucker for Ambers, but the musk in this is pretty great too. This is making me want to try my Amber Oud and my Kiel's Musk Oil to go at the fragrance from either side.
Hope you all are having a great weekend. Jon, I'm pretty jealous of your trip to NZ. I'm here at work, wishing vacation wasn't 2 months away! Please post lots of pics so we can all live vicariously through your grand adventures!
Very busy weekend for me, spending lots of time at work. I'm wearing Love and Tears today. I wore Bandit yesterday.
hugs to all ...
I've trademarked the color bleu
Thank you all so much!
We had a lovely day. Put up our tree & outside decorations.
Wearing CD's Mitzah
After a very lazy morning on my last day of staycation, I finally decided on L'Artisan Dzing!
Happy Anniversary to the RHM's!! Wishing you many happy years together!
Trying out a sample of Judith Leiber Night.
Have a good evening.

Happy Anniversary to the RHMs and many more.
In the morning I baked Snickerdoodles for breakfast -- Mr.T likes them with both cinnamon and nutmeg, they did not turn out very pretty but he ate them anyhow and there are still a few left. Later at work we had a Christmas party for the residents -- at the Nursing Home it is the biggest event of the year, this year the band was somewhat disappointing as they played only 4 Christmas songs during their performance. The food was traditional and Santa was very real. I wore Balmain de Balmain.
