Have you considered Bay Rum? Even a C+ one like Royall might work as long as the cloves aren't set on overkill.
OK. Of those previously mentioned make it another vote for:

    Sel Marine by Heely (aquatic)
    Monsieur Balmain (citrus)
Vetiver Extraordinaire (um . . .Vetiver?)

And of those NOT mentioned thus far:

    1. More vetiver suitable for walking through lava::

    Vetiver by Guierlian
    Vétiver by Annick Goutal

    2. Aromatics:

Bowling Green (probably among the best bets, and of course, discontinued --there's always a bottle popping up on e-Bay, though)
Infusion by Bombay Sapphire--Yes, it smells a bit like the gin. Good stuff.

    3. Aquatics/ Semi Aquatics:

    Himalaya by Creed
Salt Air by Demeter Fragrance Library

    4. Citrus City:

    Eau d'Orange Verte by Hermes
    Lowe Para Hombre
    Versace L'Homme
    Acqua di Parma Colonia
    Cuir d'Oranger by Miller Harris
    Gai Mattiolo Uomo
    Signoricci by Nina Ricci
    Iskander by Parfum d'Empire
    Bois de Cedrat by Creed.

Frankly, most citrus frags, no matter how superb, vanish in a few hours--and that's in normal weather.
At the gates of Hell, it 's worth your while to get a small plastic sprayer to load up to re-apply, assuming you find one that you love.

Begin your search on Amazon, it's the largest website for variety-- If it's niche, they'll redirect you to that site.

The very best of luck to you.

    Cooling off,
    Cheers,

My ultimate hot weather scent is Azzaro Chrome - that's for when I want a scent to last, and have that fresh shower smell about me all day long. There are plenty of good hot weather scents about for tooing and froing between airconditioned offices and shops, but if one gets sweaty, most conk out or get washed away. Chrome doesn't.
    Regards,

Mugler Cologne, Creed Original Vetiver, Dior Homme Cologne 2013, Bergamotto Di Calabria and Bergamotto Marino are all variations on a similar theme to me - Bergamot, Citrus Blossom, Vetiver and a smooth White Musk.

The end result is a cross between citrus notes and very highest quality soap. They all really cut through in tropical heat, but sadly all of them become skin scents pretty quick.

I'd agree on the Citrus minty suggestion as well, L'Humaniste is a great choice. I can vouch for Guerlain Homme L'Eau too, tested in the Caribbean to great effect. Live Jazz would also fit, but try before you buy on this one, some people get a lot of the coriander note (like me) so it ends up smelling like salsa dip

IMO, The ultimate HOT weather scent is Creed Pure White / Original Cologne.

Almost has a cooling effect on the skin. And smells darn good! And lasts a lot longer than a fragrance of that type should. Only drawback? The cost.

LOVE it. Dirt cheap, but I would like it if it were 5x more costly than it is. Great scent.

Cartier Declaration - We had 38c here yesterday and Declaration was still detectable on my skin after all day wearing. It is my most reliable scent in summer. A good smell also.
