Hey fragrance community. Any recomendations on a fragrance with a predominant apple note? Thanks for all your suggestions

I like Cereus No. 4's apple note. It's a GREEN apple note and very nice and refreshing....for warmer weather especially.

Cereus colognes used to be $125.00 a bottle. Actually they still are on Luckyscent. http://www.luckyscent.com/shop/secti...No%2E%5F4.html

But the last I heard, people were selling them on eBay for a little more than nothing. Not sure what's happened to the house, but it's still my favorite apple.

If you want straight up apples and that's about it, you can't go wrong with CB I Hate Perfume Gathering Apples...it's apples, apples, some apple treeish notes, apples, a little more apples, and the smell of the straw basket that they were gathered in!! It's awesome, incredibly realistic, and super refreshing.

    This is pretty good too:

    l'Artisan DÉLIRIA

    http://www.artisanparfumeur.com/shop...a-1105039.html

    Prepare to be thrilled.
Your senses will be shaken into a delicious blur.

Déliria is the fantastic contrast between metallic, rhum and gourmand notes of toffee apple and candy floss.

Top and base notes lose themselves in the heart of the fragrance in a dizzying cloud.

Matriarch's Sacre Tabac might be worth a sniff: http://www.matriarch.biz/products/sacre-tabac-sucre

It's an apple shisha though rather than straight-up apples.

I really dig Slumberhouse's Grev, but the apple in that is pretty blended with orris, clove, pine and some other craziness.

Both Be Delicious and Red Delicious do a great apple note, but it's a bit more on the synthetic side. Nicole Miller for men does an outstanding fresh apple note (mixed with leather), smells natural, and is dirt cheap. I think it's the best apple note I have smelled.

I'm not sure why a grown man would want to smell of apples but many people (not me in particular) describe Caron's L'Anarchiste as having a bit of an apple vibe.

I'm with you there, i.e why you would want to smell like that all day

I disagree with L'Anarchiste though -- it always reminds me of the smell of blood oranges.

I hope you guys won't mind if I revive this old thing?
I love apple, particularly green apple!

I once had Body Shop fragrance called Apple Blossom (can't find it here in the directory, but it's this one). It was for women, but I loved it. I should have bought a couple of bottles, because they only sold it for a season, and it was very affordable.

Anyway, I'm gonna pay attention to the fragrances already mentioned here, and I'd appreciate more suggestions!

Lots of good recommendations so far, and I agree with the DKNY's Be and Red scents. I didn't care for the supposed "apple" in Nicole Miller at all....ended up taking it back. Also really like Boss Bottled, excellent apple scent and so glad to finally have this in my collection!

specifically for a crisp green (metalic) apple, I'd try that Malle one Outrageous that I mentioned earlier
for red apples, there are quite a few but I think Brosius's Gather Apples is a good (albeit obscure) starting point
Boss Bottled/#6 is the designer accessible one
and Hermessence Ambre Narguile (I get more raisins and cinnamon personally) is the niche one
Tom Ford Splits!!!! - Tobacco Vanille, Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood, Noir de Noir,
    Plum Japonais, Italian Cypress,
    Neroli Portofino, Costa Azzura
    HARD TO FIND -

Even though it is not listed in the note breakdown, my skin really accentuates an apple accord in YSL's L'Homme. Might be worth checking out.

Byredo Pulp has a very nice red apple note. Hangs around for a good while until the fig and the white flowers take over.

Also, Dunhill Custom. Becomes too sweet though and has weak performance.
