Default Reputable Sellers for Discontinued Fragrances

I was wondering if anyone had a first hand experience with anyone in possession discontinued fragrances, and YSL M7 more specifically. I am veeeery skeptical of Ebay when it comes to discontinued items, but I really want to own this one.. Any suggestions? Also PM if you feel like you have some other constructive ideas!

    Good day )))

This one seems good. I saw a lot of discontinue perfumes, but it is based in Kuwait which is hellish hot so I am quit worry about the temperature of the store room.

Have not check if they have m7 vintage or not.

You can also post on Marketplace that you are looking for M7.

I'm reluctant to buy on ebay but of course I do. That's where to go looking for discontinued names.

I look for sellers who have multiple units of the item, not just one.

I look for someone who appears to have some plausible line into the authentic distribution chain - someone whose items for sale are almost all fragrance and beauty products. As opposed to junk collectors who habituate garage sales, and I would certainly avoid anyone who sells both popular fragrances and other frequently-counterfeited items like watches, jewelry, t-shirts, and so on.

I almost always avoid Asian locations.

I prefer sellers to be in big, American cities where there's a lot of wholesale volume floating around where there are big department stores. New York (including the New Jersey suburbs, where there are some serious stockpiles of unsold real stuff) and Los Angeles.

I would never buy a popular, high-volume fragrance on ebay, discontinued or otherwise. Only low-volume names. Would I take a shot at an Annick Goutal Neroli? Sure. But Le Male? Are you kidding?

I have purchassed M7 on ebay several times, always testers and have had good luck. Wheatstraw offers good advice. Prices have SKYROCKETED! But you can still find it from time to time for $70-80 if you look, wait and choose wisely.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will keep looking I guess...

And I cannot even post anything in the marketplace because of the rules they got in place here. Very "cool" of this website.

Every now and then one pops up on Ebay, Sometimes the prices are better than at other times. Persistence and patience are the keys.

Ebay is ok to buy from. Just ask questions FIRST. And check feedback history.

I bought 2 testers of vintage M7 a few months ago for $95 each from an ex YSL rep. I'm still shocked those 2 bottles stuck around as long as they did. They were excellent. Added them to the pile, for a total of 5 bottles, plus 1 reform, and 1 oud absolu.

Be very reluctant to buy from eBay.

Who knows what conditions they've been stored in. Let along the integrity of it tobeginwith.

YES, thats another thing. When I see something that is close to a decade old I cant help but wonder: WHERE THE HELL HAS IT BEEN? Lol. Seems like a shot in a dark busting $150+ on something that might turn out to be a sour juice, even if it is authentic per se.

Could anyone point me to some pictures of what the legit box of YSL M7 looks like? That would be really appreciated. Maybe even post your own pics if you have it in your collection? Just want to have some point of reference. Also the barcode part with the batch number if possible...

Are my concerns even valid? Have you encountered any knock offs for M7? Thanks...
