I agree with several others here that the skankiness of both of these is overstated. Very overstated. MKK does indeed settle out very quickly, and on me at least becomes a sort of spicy-soapy skin scent which I enjoy but isn't really me. Leather Oud, by contrast, doesn't reveal its "stink" until later (at least on me), but that stink is of the honey-as-urine variety, and only when smelled up-close. From a normal distance, Leather Oud smells very alluring -- warm and sexy. I wear it to work without any trouble. I used to fear it a little smelled up close, but these days I think it smells great that way too, and everyone I've had smell it up close, to test reactions, has said they like it. So much for dangerously stinky.
That aside, I think Leather Oud is brilliant. It's sexy, evocative of real agarwood smoke, and perfect in cooler weather. Hits a lot of my own buttons perfectly (spice, wood, incense, and a sort of smooth masculinity).
