Today I wear Tribute Attar by Amouage to celebrate the arrival of Amouage to Siam Paragon of Bangkok, Thailand.
I love the dark tobacco & leather notes in Tribute, mines is the reformulated one, but it is still potent and amazing.

Should I tell that page administrator that what he/she posted is not the meaning of Amouage.
According to C. C. , the creative director of the brand, Amouage actually means 'Waves of Emotions', from the Arabic word 'Amwaj' ?
Now I wish for the return of Serge Lutens & the arrival of Frederic Malle and Le Labo (I would love to try the city exclusive 'Bangkok') to Thailand.

Great scent, but reminds me of another Montale scent I can't quite remember. Anybody else have the same experience?

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

I'm wearing Jubilation XXV by Amouage today. We are having our office holiday party, and I thought this would fit the occasion perfectly.

"The plant that you have in your home - have you ever truly looked at it? Have you allowed that familiar yet mysterious being we call a plant to teach you its secrets? Have you noticed how deeply peaceful it is? How it is surrounded by a field of stillness? The moment you become aware of a plant's emanation of stillness and peace, that plant becomes your teacher."

Today testing Neela Vermeire Creations' Mohur from a sample. Lots going on there, and I feel like I'm not completely "getting it" yet, though it's very nicely constructed and not throwing notes all over the place. I definitely like it, and the "Indian dessert" notes are lovely, especially in this cold weather. It just hasn't knocked my socks off on first sniff. Definitely need to investigate further.
Wishing everyone a thrilling Thursday!

It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for.
