Default I need some input from members that own Gucci Pour Homme II.

I recently bought a bottle of this off of an ebay seller that had over 4000 transactions. I'm really on the fence whether this is fake or not. It smells 100% like Gucci Pour Homme II, but there are some red flags with the quality of the bottle. I don't want to accuse the seller of a fake when the juice smells fantastic. I'm leaning towards that it's real because it smells exactly like the sample's I have.

The sprayer sprays great, but it doesn't seem to sit flush on the bottle.

The spray stem goes straight to the bottom of the bottle and doesn't go off to either side.

    IMG_2694.jpg

    It's very lopsided.

Finally the bottom doesn't have a label on it and the Pour Homme II looks like it's chipping off.

Its real. I have a Chanel Exclusif, with a sprayer that doesnt look pushed down all the way, and the label on the bottle isnt perfect. I think what we have are commonly sold from the manufacturing plant to a distributor as 'SECONDS" or "DAMAGED" at a lower price.
Its like when your favorite clothing company has a sale and you get a shirt for 15 that usually costs double that, becuase it has a tiny hole in it somewhere, or the label is sewn on crooked... you get my drift.

You bought it for the juice right? Did you save a few $ buying it from that seller? Probably for good reason.
I have at last count 7 bottles that I consider to be "seconds" Juice is perfect, the bottle has some sort of defect. And I paid about 50% of normal retail for them, a few of them i paid about 20% of retail.

May be just a factory defect in the bottle. If the juice smells legit, I wouldn't worry about it. The two fakes I've had of other fragrances were highly noticeable and the juice smelled like stale flavored food coloring mixed with water.

Presumably, there are production/packaging 'rejects' or 'seconds' that are sold off.

Just looked at my bottle and I think yours is legit. The spray stem goes straight to the bottom on my bottle too and its inner shape is not perfectly symmetrical either, albeit not as pronounced as yours... The fact that it doesnt have a sticker may mean a store return or a tester so there is nothing to worry about.

Enjoy, thats some awesome juice right there! ))

As everyone has said I'm sure it's fine.
Is the bottle heavy and solid and would make a good offensive weapon?
I don't think it's normal to produce fakes with that quality of material, especially ones that smell exactly like the real thing.

Thanks for all the replies. I never realized how poor the bottle design was with GPH I and II.

DH has it and is almost the same. Not a fake!

    It's real.

The sprayer on my GphII is leaning slightly to the right. I'm dying to make a male anatomy joke here, but I won't do it. Grin.

The spray stem goes to the bottom and just barely veers off to the left, but it goes nowhere near curving to the side.

The glass at the bottom of both my Gph and GphII is very lopsided. I assume that's intentional since they both do it.

Generally speaking, fakes make no attempt to make the juice smell real - or even close to being real.

The spray head should sit flush.
But if it smells ok, keep it.

No need to make life more difficult.

*edited to add* My current bottle of GPH2 is lopsided at the bottom too. Juice is still 100% legit tho!

I think the lopsided bottom is intentional. It's part of the look of the bottle. I like it.

As others have said, my bottle of GPHII is lopsided as well, and I have zero doubts about it's authenticity.

It smells perfect and exactly like sample you have, who do you care about the bottle?

Bingo. The asymmetry of the bottle is an intentional design element that is also present in the original Gucci Pour Homme bottle as well as the Gucci Made to Measure bottle. If the juice smells good, then you're GTG.
